It seems to me that in the cryptocurrency market there are a lot of shitcoins. As long as the market was hot and bitcoin could not satisfy everyone, people actively bought all the coins. Then they were changed to bitcoins and sold. This created pressure on bitcoin and reduced interest in the altcoins market. I think not everyone will survive this crisis.

Looks like it's time to sell. Everyone was waiting for crypto spring. But the market is still volatile. I don't think this is going to get any better.
I am set to sell all my coins and invest in Bitcoin.

I think there is a chance for these altcoins to go up as well. Best thing to do now would be to hodl. But if you have weak hands, you sell them and eventually sell for losses.

If you are holding top altcoins (in the first 50 on coinmarketcap), then just keep holding, they'll recover eventually. If you are losing the money from less popular projects then it is probably better to sell the coins for bitcoin, because it is still the most trusted thing on the market, even though the price is so bad. Your decision should depend on what you expect to happen in the nearest future. If you feel the coins will go down even more - you can simply sell everything for tether just to stabilize the current state of your funds without dealing with fiat money. Good luck!

I think we can do so when the market is too big for us to buy a coin that we know we will buy and hold and as for the losers in their altcoin we can just hold it for no we lose even when it drops just wait for the price to rise and then we sell it when the price is expensive

Almost everyone having the same question the reason is no one want to see red market everyone want green market. Mostly alt coins depend on Bitcoin’s price & bitcoin still traveling to correction.
So in this situation as we are looking market is red, selling of alt coins will not be a good decision, but we have to hold coins & can wait for a major pump.

Altcoins were going down because bitcoins prices are falling since the start of this year and most of the altcoin price just depends on the bitcoin so we will see the recovery on altcoin when we see the rise in bitcoin price.What we need to do now is just remember the volatility is just a normal in the crypto field so we have to keep patient and keep on holding to make profits from our investment.

Thanasis has it right.  This is a continuing pattern.  All coins are currently tethered to Bitcoins price.  If Bitcoin goes up, so do Alts.  If Bitcoin goes down, so does the market.

That being said, this space is very new and has many problems.

All my thoughts about this situation is plain and simple,this is the bearish market and all i need to do is keep patient and dont check the prices in market because this only brings bad mood and may brings to selling of coins

Most probably that some of the useless coins will disappear, depleted and delisted due to their lack of volume and capital and some of them will survive due to their blind followers but soon they will follow them, the majority of cryptocurrency price is bloodbath so the things that you need to do is identify those useless coins as soon as possible if you have any of them then sell to buy those cryptos worth holding then resist the crashes.

The bitcoin's price affects this market too much. Since the drop from of BTC from 20k, we are in the downtrend of this market! For me, I usually buy the dip, there will be profit in the future anyway! Hope that the market will recover soon!
