We are at all time low of this year. Bitcoin is testing its lower supports one after the other. Even if BTC stabilizes, alts are expected to undergo bloodbath because at such points, people shift either to USDT or BTC from altcoins which brings further dump.

OP, you were scared because you thought everything would crash or that your loss cannot be recovered. It is a good thing to now say that the story line is beginning to change. Most coins are on the rise, but it seems most altcoins are to experience the present rise, except for some very few ones.

indeed the state of altcoin prices in the market has not been stable. but that's a fluctuating crypto where prices can change significantly over time without us knowing it. trading on crypto requires strong mental and high calm in taking the right decision. my advice remains confident and optimistic at the end of 2018 there will be a significant price increase. do not panic in that case and do not take decisions with a rash without thinking about future risks.

If you sell your coins after this you surely are frustrated right now since market are higher than before. Dont panic every time you see market are red best thing to do are to buy if you have a money to.  Market are so volatile so expect a red and green always do the best decision so you won't lose your money.
