If you like, I'll also post the Wallet balance, beside overall user balances & promotional balances.

I would just like to see confirmed balances no way in hell four days later that namecoin balance is not fully confirmed in my account and I see you hit some blocks of BTC as well long enough ago that my balance of that should be confirmed too.

The BTC blocks were in PPLNS pool. If you had valid shares, they were paid. SMPPS pool hasn't found a BTC block yet, so all shares are still at an unconfirmed deficit.

Namecoin
Block Number: 21618
Difficulty: 23508.97554354
Wallet Balance: 2160.81332528
Confirmed Balances: 1715.39665625544
Remaining Promotional Rewards: 73 * 5 = 365
Unpaid Promotional Rewards: 15 * 5 = 75
Total Left: 5.41666902456 (Yes, I've made 5.41 NMC in donations & tx fees. Jealous yet?)

The BTC blocks were in PPLNS pool. If you had valid shares, they were paid. SMPPS pool hasn't found a BTC block yet
Now that's interesting to know: the pool is already small, but on top of that there are 3 sub-pools each working independently? Not too great Sad

The returning getwork hashes are passed to both nmc & btc clients. Either or both can find a block. To describe the whole process would be very lengthy.

Hmm...  It seems I'll have to read up on that at some point, thanks.

This doesn't solve the matter of the stats though.  Either there are lots of missing blocks on the stats page or something is broken.  Compare the list of recent blocks for the PPLNS pool here with with, for example, the list of recent blocks for masterpool.eu.  In the last 24 hours we've had only 8 blocks and they've had 61.  This simply cannot be explained by luck or the difference in hashing power (they've had about 140% more hashing power than us for this period).

I don't know what to tell you.... except to check out the new transaction log. It's broken down to the last 100 transactions for each currency. It's all there, and in a much more readable format this time.

http://simplecoin.us/transactionlog.php

As for possible "missed" blocks, that's only if the namecoin client missed them. The balance is perfect for user balances and promotions, an extra 50 NMC would stick out like a sore thumb.

If you like, I'll also post the Wallet balance, beside overall user balances & promotional balances. (Although, I'm not thrilled about announcing wallet info)

Thanks for the transaction log, I'll take a look.  To be honest I very much doubt the problem is with transactions and I'm sure there is nothing nefarious going on.  All I'm saying is that, statistically, something is broken, whether that's the stats or something more serious.  It is not just a case of experiencing incredibly bad luck, I am able to predict incredibly bad luck.

For now I've moved my miners to another pool to protect my own interests but I'll look at the transaction log to see if I can find any clues as to what is wrong here.  I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Nice and promising pool you have here  Wink

However I would like to suggest some more monitoring stats to include:

1. Add to My Stats 24hour (from 0 UTC time to 24 UTC time) earnings indicator (for profit/loss purpose)
2. Add personal stales rate (I'm not sure about this, if needed) According to my miner, I have no single stale in the last ~100 000 shares, I thought this is because of merged mining, but I checked other merged mining pools, and they have pretty high stales rate. So perhaps I'm missing something  Huh or it is doing just great!!!
3. Provide estimated time to find a block for BTC and NMC separately (in the future NMC difficulty should rise)

Also I am wondering few more things:

4. In the top life time share list I have 0 shares, what could be the reason?
5. How does the payment system for SMPPS work? Confirmed block reward*(miner total unpaid work/total unpaid work) or somehow else? Hence adding stats like this to My Stats would help:

Pool Unpaid:   30.39144889 BTC
Your Unpaid:   2.00000000 BTC
Your Pay Ratio:   20.0000000%
Pay Next Block:   0.40000000 BTC

also something like this:

Total pool Work     40.00000000 BTC
- Paid pool Work     10.00000000 BTC
+ Confirmed BTC     20.00000000 BTC
+ Unconfirmed BTC 50.00000000 BTC
= SMPPS Buffer      20.00000000 BTC

I know that luck (like a curse or smth  Sad ) wasn't on this pool in recent days, and also I understand that implementing these stats for each of those 5 or at least 3 pools is quite complicated, but on the other hand it would bring much more transparency and confidence for concerned miners, also it would attract more hashing power, because of efficiency of monitoring tools and stability (very stable recent days) of this mining pool.

Thank You,

Yeah asshole jealous ain't the word for it so no namecoin blocks have been found that would confirm after four days the balance that is there eh. As I have said before your payout system is fsck'd so let that be a warning to all of you good luck getting the coin out of this weasel.

....And thank you for your contributions to the community. In the mean time, do a little reading up on SMPPS payouts.

You have a whole whopping 0.2831708099999995 NMC unconfirmed remaining... out of an SMPPS pool that is under deficit.

So yes, I still think you are either trolling or just not sure how SMPPS works.

If you're quite the authority, why not make your own pool (not using my software or a fork of it like the other half the pools). Or..... you could just go to another pool and rant away there. Either way, I'm done dealing with you. Any future ranting of yours and I'll just close your account, ban your ip, and send you your coins when and if they confirm (Yes, I'd still even give YOU your rewards).

I have had no problems with payout! This is one of the most honest pools by a long shot! I have helped in mining every btc block this pool has had and never had a problem getting paid! so, go troll another pool, since that is what you seem to do (ive read your past posts)!

Seems luck came back to SMPPS pool, at least with NMC Cheesy 17 found blocks in the last 24 hours with only ~20 Ghash/s average speed, and already 3 blocks with new triple difficulty...
Hope the same comes to BTC  Wink

Thank You,

1. I'll have to think about the best way to implement this, but I'll definitely keep it in mind
2. The stales rate of this pool are very low, I may add more to the stats page to show individual efficiency.
3. Sounds good.
4. Not sure, but I'll look into it.
5. I already have something in mind similar to your suggestion. I wanted a better view of the data before I implemented it though.

Just a heads up. A BTC block was rewarded to the Proportional Pool and found a false positive (share id was below existing winning shares).

I removed the incorrect data, but it should soon be awarded to the correct pool and share id.

UPDATE: Turns out it was still supposed to go to the Proportional Pool, just at a much later share. Another block found by me!  Grin

Been mining PPLNS for 2 days, still not a single BTC block. Even if we found a block now that would make me earn barely 33% of what I make at deepbit (including their fee) in the same time... This pool really seems to be cursed or something, never seen it lucky :-/
