Is the price of ethereum dependent on bitcoin?

I stick that right now all market is dependent on bitcoin price. As for ethereum, it should be like 5-10% of BTC price.
Now it is close to low point of this corellation, so it is time to buy ETH!

And maybe, it is just a matter of coincidence given that the majority of the cryptos are currently experiencinh difficulties so it is really hard to determine whether one is dependent with the other or not. But still, both ethereum and Bitcoin are good cryptos to invest so choosing between them would always result to profit especially during green market days.
