The whole cryopto market is depending on Bitcoin. Most of the times the investors are acting based on Bitcoins movements. Much or less Ethereums price is connected with the price of Bitcoin.

Most people have the mindset that the price of ethereum rises with bitcoin and vice versa. How true is this?

Yes this is very very true because the whole crypto currency world depends on bitcoin and when there is bad news about crypto and bitcoin the whole market falls and when bitcoin rise the whole market rise too and it would remain like that until the market is a bit stable

It seems there's a little connection since Bitcoin dominated the price of cryptocurrencies but It has really an independent to each other and so with the other altcoins , however if cryptocurrencies prices were falling , the Bitcoin is also falling then followed by the other altcoins with different percentage , so they are not depending to each other altcoin .

Yes, because their graphics are the same, also all altcoins depend on Bitcoin. If Bitcoin fall altcoins also fall, if Bitcoin grow usually altcoins also grow but sometimes this situation looks different.

For me all the altcoin generated on the market or rather in the industry of Crypto is BTC based coin so if the price of the BTC drops definitely the price of all the coins and tokens will also drop this is the main reason why other says ETH is dependent on BTC which is true. BTC is the base coin of all crypto if a particular coin or token rises while BTC was dropping it is probably because of the good performance of the Team that build that coin or rather token.

I think it's kinda true because as I have spotted the prices of altcoins straightly depends on the price of Bitcoin. It's ok I think.

well, it is not only dependent on the ethereum bitcoin, even almost all crypto there is dependent on the bitcoin. but this dependence is not actually appropriate, since the only market that moves the bitcoin exist, and other crypto received the impact of market movements.

bitcoin is the king of crypto currencies, so the price of bitcoin greatly affects the price of other altcoins. so when the price of bitcoin falls, Ethereum prices will also go down.

bitcoin not only affects the price of ethereum , it controls the prices of all tokens. How many times have we seen tokens grow and fall following the bitcoin. Another was never to bdon fell , and the tokens grow.

Most people have the mindset that the price of ethereum rises with bitcoin and vice versa. How true is this?
Yes , etherium price is related with the bitcoin price , here most of us trade etherium with the bitcoin unit , so clearly if the value of the Bitcoin will get down then there will take place dump in price of etherium also because value of etherium is in bitcoin and Bitcoin value is down and vice versa .
But still there are another many factors which impact over the market of the cryptocurrency to dump and pump the price of etherium alone without impact over the bitcoin market , like positivity and negative news about etherium gives increase in decrease in pricing respectively.
A very recent example we can see that a single statement that was not even negative and not also positive but still people took that statement by the vitalik into negativity and that made down in the market of etherium , but after the clearification of that statement by the vitalik again results into positivity .
So here factors are many but due to increase in the bulk pump of Bitcoin price usually results into dump in market of most of the altcoins and here as we know that etherium is altcoin and it also most of the times get dumped .

In my own opinion price of other coins depends on bitcoin because anytime price of bitcoin went down, other altcoins prices will go down too, so even eth price also goes down too. but when the bitcoin price rises, other coins and eth will rise too.
Yes dude. I totally agree with your opinion. Bitcoin is father of crypto currency. Bitcoin price is directly affect to all of other altcoins.

Most often it is really so.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two strongest coins.
When the price of one changes, traders buy or sell it. The main thing in trade is the ratio.
Thus the price for Bitcoin and Ethereum is approximately the same.

This is how it works, ETH depends largely on Bitcoin because bitcoin is the backbone of all digital currency. Since ICO'S utilize ethereum more this days. So the rise and fall of those altcoins depends largely on ethereum. But I still think once the Crypto space attain stability, life will be more easy for every other coins/token in the Crypto space.

In my opinion, I think it's true but it always depends on the market pair. I also want to be clarified with this. Anyone who can let us understand how this works? Thank you!

To me, the recent market trend of both Bitcoin and ethereum do not depict any positive correlation between both coins. There are times Bitcoin will rise significantly but ethereum will still be in red.

The price of ETH and BTC is not totally dependent, because if you would look closely with the graphs, ETH is still on the low and on the red, whilst BTC is up high and rising forward, I do not know if the 2 coins  depend on each other especially  ETH, but as what I have seen in the graph, I think it's too far and that these 2 coins do not depict with each other.

Yeah, I think so. The price of bitcoin affects the price of another coins (including eth). If the price of bitcoin decreases so the price of other coins usually decreases too; vice versa.  Until now ETH and Bitcoin are still being the most important coin in this crypto world.
