I have been watching the ethereum and bitcoin price for a long time and from what I saw is that not always the price of Ethereum changes when the price bitcoin changes. There has been many times that bitcoin price went up but the ethereum price didn't and the other side when ethereum rocked but bitcoin didn't changed. |

I thin the price all Altcoins not only Ethereum depends on the price of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most popular Cryptocurrency and it also dominate the market with high percentage in coinmarketcap,any swing in Bitcoin price will affect the whole market

No, it isnt. Ethereum has own price which not depend on other major crypto currency even bitcoin but Bitcoin may influence all altcoins prices because it is the oldest and strongest of crypto currency.
