Not only the price of an Ethereum depends on Bitcoin, but most of the other coins. They even have similar graphics.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I don't think I have any coins. Whatever it is, we haven't experienced that yet. Even when Btc and eth prices were very close to each other, a little movement of btc was enough to break the eth.
yes we know for ourselves, the strength that btc has. with the market and a large community btc can make the market move with the situation. ethereum is only a small number and other altcoins that will only follow the movement from btc.

My opinion on this issue: every altcoin depends on the cost of bitcoin — basically the way to buy altcoins lies through the purchase of bitcoin, so they are interrelated, you can see this when comparing bitcoin charts and any altcoin! I think this will continue for a very long time!

Earlier - about a year ago and even earlier - Bitcoin and ethereum were antagonists. When bitcoin is grew in price - ethereum fell in price, but now everything has changed and bitcoin and ethereum act together. For me it is very strange but it is.

Most people have the mindset that the price of ethereum rises with bitcoin and vice versa. How true is this?
I think that depends. If we recall the end of 2017, we can see that Ethereum has risen in price, following bitcoin.

It depends on Bitcoin a lot. When the main cryptocurrency is starting to rise, Ethereum is also gaining, and vice versa. However, if BTC can add 10% (for instance), ETH can grow on 15% and even more.
