Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I am very, VERY curious about this goxBTC/BTC micro market and I am offering REAL escrow for these trades. I'll take 0.5% from both parties. I have verified, empty MtGox account under 2FA. I used to trade on Gox a lot, but left a while back once they removed Dwolla option (so I have verified Dwolla as well).

You've got to know that long term forum handle alone is not a guarantee of a trust you need. We, all three parties can go on Skype, I will show you my Facebook profile (with friends and family members of same last name) and my YouTube, so you'll know me in a face (I'll post on these profiles to verify in real time). You can exchange in small chanks and I will be sending screenshots once there are changes in My Gox account.

no need to, there are several escrow sites/members here who have a long time trusted status as escrows.
Bitrated.com is one of them Wink
Ok, thanks. Forget it then, I will just sit here with my popcorn...
On a side note, not related to my offer above, it really amazes me how much do we humans think alike. You come to some relatively new field for you, you think of some related to it service, or a product idea, but most often only to find them already implemented.

FWIW, I can vouch that at least some of these newbies have actual goxcoins to trade.

I find it astounding how difficult it is for some people here to just trade per pm. I was asked for skype and viber and even irc...

I didn't get the people asking me multiple times to skype after I politely declined— not going to be running some binary-blob intelligence surveillance tool on anything in my home if I can avoid it.

I understand that people are concerned about safety— and you should research the people you trade with or ask to use bitrated.com. Skyping with them will be little actual protection.

Right now the demand for these trades is so great that I'm needing to raise my rates above what I'd prefer otherwise just to rate limit the flood. I am willing to split up the transfers to help people feel more comfortable but I'm not going to jump through a bunch of additional hoops.

(Though I am fine with IRC, feel free to /msg gmaxwell)

If not, pls demonstrate your trustability.

I can see how someone would be dead serious with such an offer.
I was thinking of buying some at 50% myself, but now believe even this is too risky at this point. I'll sit back and watch the whole trainwreck to work out in slowmotion.
