I have a client with a large amount funds to buy trapped Mt.Gox bitcoins at 85%
If legitimate, the bitcoins or USD can be sent or wired today. Both parties will go through a vetting process. An NDA and small KYC will be required.
$100,000 USD minimum order.
Those that accept wire will receive a better rate than those that opt for a bitcoin to bitcoin trade.
PM if you are interested. Serious inquires only.

As someone else have already posted this makes zero sense.
Say someone has 200 Gox BTC to sell, your client have to send back 170 BTC, these can be bought/sold from stamp at $605 = $102 850
So your client ends up paying $102850 for 200 Gox BTC

Now instead your client wires $102 850 directly to Gox, with this he will be able to buy 102 850 / 460 = 223 Gox BTC

So by buying the coins directly you would get 11% more coins, save yourself a lot of time and avoid all risks of buying coins that the seller has cheated out of Mt. Gox as explained in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=455243.msg5074778#msg5074778

So either you and your client are not very smart, or this is some kind of scam attempt.

If you are not a scammer please PM me and I will offer you some great advice that will save you and your client a lot of money. I am only asking for a 5% cut of what I am able to save you.

@ Bitsinmyhead
hahaha goxBTC to BTC exchange ... 10 out of 10 for entertainment value - love the idea joshbb!
.....

But the real reason I'm posting here is this - imagine this hypothetical scenario:

1) someone buys goxBTC for real BTC
2) the seller of goxBTC is later found by MtGox to have cheated them by exploiting the current technical bug (withdrew BTC from Gox but then was reimbursed by Gox for what they thought was a "failed" transaction) and then sold the reimbursed goxBTC to an unsuspecting buyer for real BTC.
3) Gox go through all the customer account balances and delete the non-existent goxBTC from all accounts as part of their current fix

Possible? - Yes!
Probable? - Yes!

Does the buyer loose their acquired fraudulent goxBTC? - possibly!!!

That does not work. Legally they can't take those Bitcoins from you. You would have to have bought them knowingly in order for them to charge them back to themself. Everything else is theft on their side.
What they could do is raise the fees to trade and withdraw in order to get their lost bitcoin back.

Never posted before but this seems like fun.  I've bought a few goxBTC on Josh's bitcoinbuilder.com but the offers are a little thin at the moment.

I will buy each goxBTC for .75 realBTC.  I don't want to buy anymore than 1,000 goxBTC.  And I can only afford 10 so that shouldn't be hard.

Looking to see if anyone is selling some GOXbtc. I am looking to buy a few at spot price. PM me to work something out. I have a mtGOX account so it should make it easier, although I am not too sure how to go about it.

Willing to buy up to 10realbtc worth of gox coins at 75%. PM me if you have gox coins you want to sell.

EDIT:

Actually I'm just going to post an order at https://www.bitcoinbuilder.com/ to avoid the risk and have a trusted escrow.

I am buying GoxBTC at 70% of real BTC, up to 26 real BTC (as of writing, Mt. Gox is trading at roughly 67% of Bitstamp price).

Given my newbie status, I will send first (provided you seem trustworthy based on posts/past trades on this forum), split over smaller transactions.

PM if interested.

I highly advise against this. Use a free trusted escrow service. There have been way too many scams and that is way to much to risk even in smaller transactions.

Due to the increasing Gox/Stamp spread I also have to lower my bid. I am now offering 70%.

What exactly does this thread proof? It proves that there can be a flourishing black market for coins on an exchange that is unable to process withdrawals, nothing more.

To all those saying that Gox will charge back GoxBTC to GoxBTC transfers, you are absolutely moronic.

Gox clearly stated in their press release that withdrawals to other Gox wallets are working fine.

"Bitcoin transactions to any MtGox bitcoin address, and currency withdrawals (Yen, Euro, etc) are not affected by this issue."

So they are obviously aware that members can and will move coins to other Gox addresses.

This is really weak sauce FUD.
