Tell me, anyone who knows anything about this— can I transfer Gox bitcoins to someone who has an unverified Gox account? I mean if, for example, someone with an unverified Gox account buys my coins, can I transfer them to his account from my verified Gox account? Just trying to understand if this rule is still correct:

I think you can only transfer to verified accounts, but I might be wrong.

why people are buying on mtgox? dont be DUMB who the f*uk wil think that they will sell the bitcoin 70% less tha any one else? this is a SCAM . can be 2 things

1..they will run with all your money

2. they will recive transfer and le you buy and sell the bitcoin only in they exchanger but not withdraw

Sounds familiar?! I guess this is happening right now)

4. they will suspend and sue all accounts who used the "transaction malleability" trick. (People had to register with ID at Gox)
Maybe they get some money back. However, I'm pretty sure they will blame someone else.

5. a bank/country has already taken over MtGox to destroy the value and trust in BTC.

6. they are total insane dumb ass idiots and continue like this... -> Trust in Bitcoin will be lost.

I just confirmed that even if you have an account at mtgox BUT the account is NOT yet confirmed, you will not see any coins credit to the account. Don't mater if I pay pennies on the dollar for each gox coin, I will not see anything. So, at this point I must retrieve any offer. I sincerely wish the best for everyone who have coins there or fiat for that matter.

Sorry for the slight threadjack.
I tried to log into my old MtGox account, which I didn't use for a year or something. Username/password not accepted (it was saved in a password db, no typo). No password recovery mail is sent to me neither. I have a yubikey.
A second account doesn't work neither (which I used for creating an API bot), it wasn't used for a year neither.

What's going on here?
I want to export all data, in case I would need it someday. As I believe a total collapse is imminent and my data would then be gone.
No funds in there at least.

8.  its a well done insider scam ( 4hours before announcement there were enough poeple who´d rather have a

     misely 150 dollars as goxbalance than BTC ---certainly not panicking japanese  depositors neither Mark alone)

    if noauthority stops them then the next protest luckily is at the bahamas or I would evn prefer to visit the cayman
