WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ?
ETH is becoming increasingly popular, however, it does not mean that Bitcoin will gradually be forgotten. At present, Bitcoin's capitalization still accounts for nearly half of the market. And that number is unlikely to replace, because Bitcoin is still the most known currency. Yes Etherium popularity is increasing regularly, but still it cannot overcome bitcoin in next 0ne year. Bitcoin still is the best currency of the crypto world and even will continue number one for a long long time, because still the demand of bitcoin is increasing. I do not think that any other currency can overcome bitcoin for next few years. |

Main reason for ethereum to be famous is that it is used as a gas and most altcoins are built on ethereum blockchain. But Bitcoin is the king and no coin will ever take over. 😃

I don't think so, It wont happen because ETH is an alternative coin for bitcoin so an alternative works like a shadow and a shadow could never beat the owner of that shadow. BTC like a mother coin.

I do not think it's going to happen. Because we watched ETH very much in the face of bitcoin until a few months ago, but with bitcoin drop, Eth also became a place. I could have held it for a while and I really thought that a bitcoin would pass.

Yes Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrency.In my opinion there have no altcoin who can beat bitcoin.Etherium is one of the best altcoin there have no doubt.But it can't beat Bitcoin in 2019. |

Eth can not be able to pass bitcoin in 2019 though it has a very good potential and technology, it will remain the best altcoin and queen of crypto while bitcoin will remain the king and best crypto. Its price will continue to rise because it will gain more popularity.

I do not think so. maybe Ethereum is more technological, but Bitcoin is the king and most importantly-a favorite speculative tool of whales. as long as the whales need bitcoin to manipulate the market, it will remain in the first place

You do not specify in exactly what aspect you want ETH to surpass bitcoin but supposing you mean the market cap, the short answer is that is never going to happen, bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies in my opinion there is not a cryptocurrency that can surpass bitcoin, something with a completely new technology will need to emerge, some claim hashgraph could do it but the fact is closed source is a fact that will not allow to surpass bitcoin at all. |

Well everyone is waiting for this moment and ETH needs only move to cross the BTC but there is a huge gap between these two. If btc goes down continuously and ETH goes up continuously then it is possible. Up till now both are dependant on each other if one is down as well. No one exactly knows what will happen in 2019. |

i think too fast if we talk about it right now. as we know the bitcoin still very dominance, i see almost all coins follow bitcoin trend about pump or dump. but to be honest i'm one of a fan for ethereum, and i say it really difficult for now. |

I think it is not possible. Bitcoin is the one of the best coin in the crypto market. Passing over bitcoin for eth is not a easy work. Still there is no coin in the market which have ability to cross bitcoin. |

In my opinion, ethereum will not pass bitcoin in even 2029 because those who predicting that underestimate bitcoin's real potential as a world currency, it will be far ahead of eth in the future.

I think that in 2019 not yet, but could be very close, in 2 or 3 years then it could pass Bitcoin, Ethereum provided to us stable platform and people will know more about crypto and if they meet ETH and its price, it's better than investing in BTC.
