WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ?

Recently I've read an article stating that Ethereum price is too much overvalued and the moments when it was over $ 1000 were it's prime and it would be never hit again. It was also mentioned that real Eth price is not more than $100.
I think that's it is wrong but there is also some truth.

With the current market trend it is difficult to determie whether that can happen in 2019, Ethereum continues to decline and there are a lot of speculation about how will it dump. From the time i have observed Ethereum it has been on the bearish move all year round.

Bitcoin will still lead maybe for the next 5 years, it's impossible for ETH to pass BTC when most of the people trust and know only Bitcoin. With the big fall of ETH it's even more impossible.

Impossible to achieve this, no. Ethereum is not so medialized like Bitcoin, it's a strong page of BTC that people often know only about Bitcoin and not some Ethereum. Bitcoin will become very strong, Ethereum will stay on the value it has now.

That can not happen. If ETH is more trusted then at least we have to wait for the next 5 years, ETH can pass BTC. In 2019 we still can not tell if the market could go up or not. Even ETH could drop to 100$ by 2019

Ethereum will never ever dethrone Bitcoin both have different purpose. Bitcoin is used by many investors as their favourite store of value coin while due to rise in ICOs the price of the ethereum spiked and peoples started to use ethereum also store of value. But as I said their purpose are different so it's not good to compare both that who will be on top in future. I my opinion market will be same as it's is now in 2019.

If any altcoin will ever surpass Bitcoin it won't for sure happen this quick. I give it about 3-5 years from now to happen but definately not in 2019.

ETH will never passBTC because price difference is very huge and BTC has more dominant power approx 45%, few days ago due to Bitcoin price clash whole crypto market is in red state, there is no logic to say ETH can pass BTC by 2019 right now.

I am very wrong if it happens, because bitcoin is the one crypto in the world so I don't think anyone will be able to compete even though there are coins like eth though.

I doubt if ethereum will be able to pass bitcoin in 2019 because bitcoin has more a very good potentials than ethereum. Bitcoin is the oldest crypto and it also has very good team members to support it. Though ethereum is also a good and promising coin but it will not pass bitcoin.

We all know that ethereum has a great potential to rise and shine as one of the best coins we have in the market. However, camparing it to bitcoin would be unjustifiable since we all know how bitcoin passed all the tests of time. Bitcoin would still remain on top no matter how good ethereum is because it is known to be the father of all coins.

It's hard to even imagine that someone thinks that way. With all due respect to eth, it is not possible for bitcoin to lose its position over the next year. If it is at all able to happen, you will have to wait a long time for it.

I don't think so and I guess it will never, even with all the good points the Ethereum has, It's tough to over throw a coin who established a really good foundation to the entire market and has been strengthen throughout the years. I really think that Bitcoin will continue to dominate for few more decades.

I still hope for this but I started to be quite negative about ETH, Bitcoin is king and maybe never will let any other coin pass it, many people talk about Bitcoin as only future coin, maybe that's true.
