1 Netcoin
.
.
.
.
2 Vertcoin
3 Digitalcoin
4 Namecoin
5 Noblecoin
6 Quark

Quite some potentially long term coins out there, a lot of garbage too.

Netcoin is on top of my list of long term solid coins. There isnt a single new altcoin out there that has as great a community backing it as this one. They also have some pretty awesome projects they are working on !

I am biased of course seeing as I head up Netcoin. So with that in mind...

1. Netcoin (but of course! Smiley )
2. Bitcoin
3. Litecoin
4. digitalcoin
5. FireFlycoin (A shot in the dark, it is very cheap considering the total coins right now)

Netcoin is coming along nicely, been making lots of new additions along the way. Most recently added the Netcoin Lottery and the Online wallet seen here...

http://lottery.netcoinfoundation.org/
and
onlinewallet.netcoinfoundation.org

They've only been installed over the last few days.

But we're working on more complicated pojects at the same time, they obviously just take longer to develop.

We have a competition running too at the moment that will lead up to the Netcoin Store opening.

http://forum.netcoinfoundation.org/thread/583/netcoin-shirt-design-competition

Lots going on, so although I am biased it isn't totally unjustified. Smiley

Lol at every sigle moron not listing Doge as first. Biggest community and quickly growing, biggest transaction volume, media attention everywhere. Get real. If you arent buying cheap sub200 DOGE you are a certified moron. Making all these posts so I can come back a year from now and say, I TOLD YOU.

Still an overblown flash-in-the-pan based on a soon-to-be-irrelevant meme.

All that matters is popularity, and Dogecoin is the only one that implicitly realises that. Don't confuse self-reflexivity with irreverence.

Doge has demonstrated the most resilience so far, which must be the prime attribute, no?

Why not create a poll when asking this?

There would be no point in creating a pull

Like many others has said
Quark
Vertcoin
Bitcoin

Can't really think of any other ones really end up being useful. There are some new coins coming out that are promising so list can change.

Why quark? except for the fact that u are using it as your sig. Isn't quark premined to shit?

Quark is part of my portfolio too, and let me tell you that Quark was not premined. This site has been around for a while and Quark was mined the first day that it was announced on this site (June 21st I think?). Many people came to this site closer to 2014 and saw that the coin had mostly been mined, but premined (meaning that it was mined before announced publicly) is a wrong statement.

As to why Quark? It has some unique benefits. I'm not sure if I would hold more Quark than BTC in my portfolio, but its definitely a good 2nd or 3rd option. It has 30 second confirms, very unique encryption, CPU-only so there are no ASICs (pretty much has Vert's only innovation), and most importantly IMO - a professional foundation and community supporting all marketing and developing.

Soon, Quark will receive its first mobile app wallet that the community financed. Also, a second mobile wallet is coming out that is completely different from all others on the marketplace - this may not give much marginal value to the coin price, but still great to see community development. Also, Quark will be receiving crypto's first unique computer wallet with an updated GUI that makes the coin more non-techie-friendly.

New investors are just piggybacking on our developments that we are funding, but we are hoping that they continue to add value to Quark's increasing baseline price.

1.ppc -
2.qrk
3.dcg
4.xpm
5.ltc
6.doge - slightly risky, but i really like it's chance...always grabbing up a bit more on lows.

gambles i am going to hold just because each has something a bit interesting and some could get some big publicity. I guess the gambles could make back more than the top list but of course way more risky.

6.QQC
7.VEL
8.USDe
9.icoin
10.CASH
11.PHS - what can i say....don't mind harry potter and i like getting the odd free coins popping up every few days
12. NET
13. DEV
14 .NXT
15. ADT when it gets on it's feet again.

ones i already fucked up on and probably missed the boat now

BTC - too late to the party for getting many of these....hold a few just because you have to really.
Applecoin - sold out way too low
Vert - missed out on mining it for the most part...grabbed a few but i think it already topped out so missed the boat there too.

Everyone believes in the coins they hold i guess, those are the ones i think will have good chance and buy some on lows and mine when profitable.
