I am still waiting for my 1.7 BTC transaction to come through. Yesterday they promised I would get it today, but when querying them today I get the "levels" treatment. They want 3.4 BTC more to expedite the transaction, promising a three hour processing time.

As for now I would warn people to stay away. They need to put info on the web site with regards to these various limits and levels. Sketchy.

Getting the same, already waiting for 3+ days on my 4BTC, need to wait for a level bla bla threshold.. Wtf

Please let us know how it works out for you and for what amounts. They are selectively withholding payments as of now, be very careful.

So i contacted them "how long is this gonna take form now?" and they talked some bullshit about level 5.3 and i needed to pay 1.3BTC if i wanted to reach that level or i needed to wait. I was like okay okay, so i sent 1.3BTC... ~6 hours and 3 sent mails later still no response.

Same here, but I asked them to send it back and after multiple emails saying send it back, they still ask, should I send it back?, as it will take a long time. Should have stuck with btc-e.

Their reply times are very long as well, could have sorted it out much faster if they cared to reply faster. If they had a problem with smaller amounts they should have mentioned so in their website. They only said the min has to be .5 btc, which was fine by me.

Now I lost the transaction cost as well as interest on my amount.

Sad

It is called a scam.  If you sent more, the "required" amount would have been more.  This is simply a way to delay and obfuscate so they can scam more people before it becomes obvious they aren't going to pay you (or anyone). Eventually the scam would stop being effective once the word gets out, they are just trying to drag out how long that takes with all the nonsense excuses and vague responses.  In a sense it has already has worked.  Other people had already reported no payment and vague excuses and you decided to "try them" anyways. Why?  Now they are hoping they can get another couple victims to be not 100% sure it is a scam and give them a try.

Sorry man, I honestly hope I am wrong but this isn't my first time to the rodeo. In the future, verify before clicking submit transaction.

I am hoping I get it back, but otherwise I am going to make as much noise as possible to ward off other users

So, my last reply from them was a couple of hours ago and I am hoping that me continuing to be in touch will help sort out the issue. Hoping for the best and hoping that it gets resolved quickly. The was all the BTC I had.

Did they ask you to send more money?

Seriously guys? Please start reading posts! Someone helped immensely by posting their horrid customer service experience emails right above your posts.

What made you think that using the service was a good idea after that? Your money is your power, please be a little more cautious with it. I wish you all a smooth and speedy recovery, I would love to see some redemption for this company but for now it is clearly looking like a scam.

I honestly can't believe it.  People wonder why scammers are attacted to bitcoin.  You have someone reporting a non payment and then other users line up to throw their money at the scammer as fast as possible.  If they had used BitSimple ( https://BitSimple.com ) they would have gotten paid the same day, everyday.  The rate is about 1% lower but then again when you have no intention on paying you can offer the "best" possible rate.

The BitSimple site looks good. In the terms and conditions it says United States only. Is there any chance at all it could be opened up to the users in the U.K.

We are lacking a site over here that offers quick conversion for buying or selling over here.

Yes.  International support will be announced later this month and UK will be one of the initial supported countries.  Thank you for your interest.

Awesome. I'm looking forward to the announcement mate.

That will really help out people in the U.K. Also it may help stop some of these people being scammed by these merciless blatant scammers.

Thanks for making my day man.

Bitsimple is limited to US residents. With stamp at 655, simple printed 636 while btc2money was at 701 (with promo code). They actually transacted at that high rate at first.

So it's not 1% lower, more like 8% lower. Of course I would gladly take 92% over nothing any day of the week.

EDIT: Just saw that simple is adding euro options. Great!

So the last mail I got from them said that I will have to wait 7-10 days for them to give me my BTC back. I dont have much of a choice now do I...anyway lets see how it goes.

I saw a couple of people on another forum getting paid today, so hopefully things are above board.
