It will be difficult to replace the bitcoin from the top one rank,there's no one can overcome the bitcoin,even the ethereum. Bitcoin is the legendary coin,that trusted and proven by many people all over the world.

Personally Litecoin is still a great coin and undervalued during the last weeks. It was overtaken from other coins and now value is decreased. If you are interested to buy you can take this chance and invest. You can make money if Litecoin will price increase soon.
But king ist still Bitcoin and near future will bring no changes. So Bitcoin stays king.

Future? What is the real future and when will it be? When we said in future something new will replace it and its maybe true. Btc and etherium will be stronger and new coin will not so strong like them so i think new thing will not have enough power to defeat the both two coins. |

Cryptocurrency will continue to improve and new coins will appear.
But in my opinion, Bitcoin will be the king of coins in all time, now the price of Cryptocurrency is still influenced by Bitcoin.
Every day there are new coins but until now there is no coin that can beat the price of Bitcoin.
All still under Bitcoin.

It is not easy to replace a new king in bitcoin because of there long time in service and the other one the good service of there works as teamwork that is the way why many investors trust of bitcoin.I think bitcoin will still a new king in cryptocurrency.

This is really hard to say but I was hoping NEO might step into that role but it is seeming less like that at the moment. So I am really not sure at this point but something will eventually slip into that position naturally as a mature coin.

I see a good potential on Ethereum.
I think that who will be the king of coins is Ethereum, I am convinced of Ethereum's ability to be the king of coins and to be a coin that many people demand.
Currently, Ethereum grows into strong coins and becomes a great coin so it is not possible if Ethereum will be a strong coin.

Not a chance, crypto had start with only bitcoin currency circulating in some part of the world. Start without letting it public and just fee people for sure using bitcoin that time. Proven till now how bitcoin remain as the king of crypto. Existence of the coin is absolutely unbelieveable. No nee coin will replace btc , this coin had a wide use in online and offline transaction. And now crypto seems to be exist the rest of world life

this seems natural, where outdated technology will be replaced with more modern and effective technology, now BTC and ETH can still lead the world of cryptocurrency, but who knows who will replace them for the next five years. I think there are Credits, CyberMiles and some new projects this year 2017

I just get the sense that there will be some stumbling block for ETH that will reassert BTC as the dominant coin for another 5 or more years. I think it will be similar to Mt Gox and as far as impact goes but I don't think it will be such a simple heist and that it is more likely to be a large technical blunder that is exploited by some combination of network demand but could also be a smoke screen for some sort of heist. This would open the door to similar platforms such as WAVES. But I think BTC will reign supreme with no serious competitor for a number of years. But if some coin were to actually innovate and assert some technical dominance to even come close to BTC then my guess is it could be LTC simply because of the clout regardles of what Lee did or didn't do with his supply of LTC. Of course, ADA is interesting too... but they just seem so scattered over there and LTC is sort of the old school mafia boss by comparison. Bitcoin is already a king of coins from year to year. because it is for Bitcoin which has a growing development and also has a lot of supporters. so it is very capable of bringing Bitcoin into a coin king. not close the possibility for other coins to be king. so all the coins have a chance to be king, like Ethereum or Ripple coins. |

As far as I can see, it would still be bitcoin. Why? because bitcoin is still supported by a lot of people all over the world even the biggest names in the world still invests with bitcoin. And for ethereum, we will see a brighter future for it since its platform is based by a lot of ICOs.

I think bitcoin is still king. Ethereum is second only because most other coins are built using their platform. Also, eth behaves like any other altcoin as well. But I think in time it would be independent of bitcoins movement.

I think it's too difficult to shift the position of bitcoin and ethereum, even though it's in the future. Will not the future of the two coins be even stronger, so it will be more difficult to replace bitcoin and ethereum. |

For one or two more years, maybe top5 will not be different yet, but for a longer period of time, I think there will be next generation altcoin that will give real trouble to Ethereum. But of course the King is still held by Bitcoin. |

I think and believe that the king in the market is bitcoin and it will always be like that. Actually with the evolution of the market, different types of coins are coming here but no one has the ability to beat bitcoin. Bitcoin is the foundation of this market. It is the most profitable and reliable coin and so it will be king always.
