Who will be the new king

At this point, still Bitcoin is the king because as of now I don't see any potential movement of some popular altcoin. That is true, BTC is the hinghest rank among all coins and still BTC is the King. Hi, I'm sure that btc will remain king in the near future.

As of today, Ripple is only the one that can overcome Etherium which happen in December 2017.
For a few moments Ripple is the second cryptocurrency. As Ripple will have many plans for 2018 i think it can still overcome ETH but for Bitcoin.
I think no one can still replace it.

I do not think that in the next five years any cryptocurrency will be able to beat Bitcoin. It is still the most popular, most reliable and most expensive coin in the world.To replace it it is necessary that it did not develop for a long time.
