Who will be the new king

Although the gap between all tokens is getting smaller, that doesn't mean there's a token to beat the BTC. I still think bitcoin will always be the leader in the cryptocurrency market, because bitcoin is always the most popular investment product for institutional investors.

I completely agree with your opinion. I think no one can replace the BITCOIN coins because Bitcoin is a potential coin and many are of interest to many people and also despite the often falling price but I think it is very difficult to replace with other coins. although there is a good ALTCOIN, Bitcoin's position will never be replaced.

It is indeed true that bitcoin cannot be replaced by any altcoin its position. This is because of the bitcoin too strong defending his position, other than it has a major influence on bitcoin alt coin, for that bitcoin will remain as King.

I remain optimistic for bitcoin, but that does not mean dislike altcoin, there are some altcoins that I have as a long investment. such as eth, and ripples can grow faster than any altcoin.

For a moment, i guess this top two wont get replaced.
they are the foundation. and if ever they get replaced. the rarity of this coins will also affects the market.
and they are the pioneer. so for me they wont get replaced.
some good project could co exist with them.

We know, there's always a one king and also in this world, there's only a one king that is Bitcoin. Without any doubt, BTC still remain its top spot. I don't think any coin will replace Bitcoin in next 100 years. Even if any coin will get price like Bitcoin but it's too difficult to maintain that price. Bitcoin and Ethereum don't really compete with one another. They have different purposes, different use-cases. They only seem to be competing in the sense that one coin has to have the highest market cap.

I don't think anything will necessarily replace them, but certainly other coins will rise to fill other functional niches. Fast and cheap payments for example isn't covered by either BTC or ETH, which is one reason that XRP has a high cap.
