Atleast at near future it's not possible. I don't think there is anything which can replace BTC at first place. BTC is the market itself and everything depends on it. And if said about ETH it is the first popular platform based coin of itself and it has the 2nd place in the list as using product. Almost 60% of this market depends on this two products. It is not about technology cause if you see there is many thing better than BTC as a payment token. And there is a lots of platform token better than ETH. But they still hold their position. Cause they  have the trust of people who believe in this market. And it will take a huge time to gain trust by people.

I don't think that will happen, if that happens there might be a project that is better than them, because it has never happened before, or there may be new innovations that are worth waiting for.

I heared such questions a lot times and everytime BTC stayed to be a king of all coins and altcoins. Ofcourse, maybe Ethereum and a lot oof others currencyes better then BTC, say, some like EOS, Waves, XEM, IONX - but Bitcoin is owner of first born currency priority.

you are right. bitcoin will remain the number one of the most superior and strong in his position at cryptocurrency. bitcoin is also still giving its influence on controlling prices on coin-coin another. It seems difficult to replace its position, furthermore, it takes quite a long time anyway.

I don't think BTC will be de-thrown as king of crypto currency it is the most popular and widely use crypto currency. At ETH side, only XRP took its place on second over-all but never took long. ETH very popular and useful for ICOs coming in the market, maybe still down right now but still have a big chance to recover soon.

I think the king will not change in the near future. Still ti's remain as BTC. All other coins are just circulating around BTC. So my point, if you have extra money, Buy some BTC and hodl it.

I strongly agree, the position of Bitcoin as the number one coin still cannot be defeated from other coins, investing in Bitcoin is currently still very profitable.  Other coins like Ripple and Eos have a chance to shine this year.

In the electronic money market, BTC and ETH are two dominant electronic currencies. If one day, there is a project that can go beyond the BTC and ETH, it will be the king of the cryptographic market. But in my opinion, it is quite far. While the projects have research on technology, solutions... the BTC and ETH are constantly improving technology to improve more and more.
