I am more interested in long-term investments with coins that have the potential to be long-term benefits.
For example, Bitcoin is a coin that has good potential for long-term investment.
Why?
Because Bitcoin is the oldest coin with very good Blockchain technology, so I'm sure if we invest in Bitcoin it will be profitable for long-term investments.
Many have tried and proved that Bitcoin brings good luck.

Short term trading will be more profitable of course. If you can only accurately ride with the rising and falling of prices, there would definitely be a bigger profit. However, our accuracy will only be up to a certain extent. That is why a lot of people are appreciating long term investments because you are more or less assured of growth. But you will have to do with the painful decrease of prices along the way in order to reach your long term goal.

Most often I go to shorts, because whatever the trend is now the trend of the bears, and not the bulls clearly. But I also go to long. I take a shoulder from 10-25, more often all x10 and try so far to recoup at low percentages (10-25%). Sometimes there were 40-60% |

If the market prices are doing well then the short-term investment is better at least you can earn profit daily even if it's not a lot. But if aiming for a better reward or huge profit then the long-term investment is the best option. So for me, it all depends on the market condition whether I'll go for a short or long-term investment.

Short term is also profitable but long term investment is more worth it and i am sure with that, i remember when i hold my bitcoin for almost 5months it gives me a huge amount of money when bitcoin value pump very high last year. |

Long-term investments are those investments that you intend to hold for more than one year — in fact, you generally intend to hold them for several years. So in crypto world i am holding my positions till 2022 or getting at least 10x profit from the ICO price of that crypto coin.

I would be very cautious about holding Bitcoin for the long term. At some point, people are going to figure out that its only utility is speculation. When that happens, there will be an exodus to cryptocurrencies that offer real-world value and utility.

It depends on the investor preferable, if they will want to do it long term or short term trading but for me I would agree with you that long term investment is good enough, and I prefer it too, especially if you are investing in those top coins in the cmc, for sure they will be worth it to invest in the future. |

Long-term investment can be done when choosing good and potential coins. it is done to maximize profit, while the short term can be done when it has a coin that has the potential to dump and certainly it's not too good in the long run.

Both are important for various cryptocurrencies, not one. Most of the people will suggest long-term blindly, I think in different ways. There are several coins, which will be of great value in the future, so you have to hold them for a long time. And several coins for short-term investments! In coinmarketcap, more than 1700 coins are listed but 60% of the coins will be worthless in near future, so you have to be careful about your investments.

i think that you should buy low and hold on to them until they go up in price so i think that the greatest reward comes to those who wait. i think long term is best to get the biggest reward out of your investment. It may take a 1 to 5 years maybe longer but it will be worth it because like everything it will go up eventually.
