I think current situation both are good to survive in crypto platform. So long term and short term investment are make decent profit. But we should carefully in any investment because after investing we will never suffer our investment.

I will rather short-term investments in the presence of trading. Trading is a sample of a short-term investment

Generally, I prefer to make long-term investments because these investments are easier and more profitable than short-term investments. Of course, I expect short-term investments in the period I expect to conclude my investment, but I can easily say that my investments are long-term and that these investments are more profitable than short-term investments. Especially the long-term investor in the cryptocurrency sector will always win because we can often coincide with the bull period. It is very important to know what you want and when.
For me i am doing shortlong trade.
For me at this dip market i think buying some strong alts and keep for shortlong term.
For example

As long investing you need to divide your capital to 10 and buy 10 coins. Due to fact that not all coins will pump at same time so when one coin pump you can sell and buy the one that is due to pumped. Like this you are doing shortlong trade.

There is no contract that guarantees the price of bitcoin or NEO is going to grow in the long run, it's all just speculation, trusting and following the speculation is not a wise move in investing, investors should have the most appropriate thinking and choices to maximize their safety and profitability. I might see the situation first. when I feel that it can make a profit in the future, I might hold it for a long time. but, nowadays, most people prefer long-term investments because they are like future savings.

I spend most of my time trading short term. I've got some long term investments running in the background, where I almost never look at.
However, trading short term (daytrading) requires some skill, while long term investments are relatively easy to do.
If you have experience, go for daytrading, cause it can generate a lot of money when you are good. If not, play it safe and go long term.

For me, daytrading is alot more profitable for me, but it requires alot of my time aswell. Long investments take 0% of my time.

I'm currently holding Cardano, Verge, EOS, NEO and some others. Pretty safe and solid investments in my opinion.
But my advice to you is: check out coins yourself, compare them and decide whether you wanna invest in them.

In my opinion long term is the best way to earn some profit. It's too risky for short term investment. Because crypto trade is too much sensitive. Every time market are changing. sometimes it's huge.... so its better to stay way from short time investment.

If you have Bitcoins in then do not think to sell early and to get profit early because we should know about it that it is long term investment source and we should not treat it as short term otherwise we will see its bad consequences only. Do think that if you are proceeding for Bitcoin then you must have the ability to stay firm at least 1 year or it may result in profit early.

The position you take as regards your trading endeavour will depend on your outlook!  If you are looking for safest place to grow your fund in cryptocurrency,  you just have to trade bitcoin both in the short to long term.  If  you are daring and bold,  you may play Altcoin!

We have a clear difference between long term investment and short term investment and furthermore we know very well about several coins which we consider best for either short term or can act best as long term. Bitcoin should be your long term investment if you are looking for huge profit while other Altcoins like Litecoin should be your short term investment if you want normal profit in a short time interval.

I want to earn montly consistent profit from crypto trading so i chooce to do short term trading,  and my target profit will be according to situation of crypto market,  in bull market i have target profit 50% to 100% amonth and in bear market  i will trade on margin crypto trading and others asset that has lower volatility by target profit 30% amonth.
