I always do long term investment because i feel that i can earn more profit, and i think  investing on very promising coin and holding it for long tern can be the greatest strategy to do specially when we will hold bitcoin for long term.

A technical would always goes with the chart as their bias so it doesn't matter. But yes short always makes people to go on a double edge risk. Fun though but not for everyone especially new in trading.

I am doing both short term and long term investment and i am making  a good amount of money but i know to myself that long tern is still the best investment to do and  we just need to invest our money on crypto like bitcoin and eth to be successful in long term.

Investments are of two types I mean to say major investments types are short term and long term depends upon the mode of trader or investor. If you want to go for short term then there are few Altcoins in which Litecoin is most recommended for short term and other few less valuable coins. On the other hand Bitcoin and Ethereum are most favorable for long term so you should go for these two and I will say that one should proceed for both short term and long term.

This also depends on the kind of investment you want to make. An investment in coins like Bitcoin ETH or Litecoin would require you to go for a long term. Because in the long term investment, the ratio of profit that could be earned in these coins is huge. The only purpose is to make money and a long term investment promises money.

However if your coins belong to a down category of altcoin, they would be good for short term investment because coins like NEO are preferred for making quick money.

Long term so far is applicable to apply now not short term because its too risky if you do short term in this bearish season mate. But if you think to yourself that you can handle short which you know how to make profit on a day trade, well go ahead do it and buy what you can afford to lose only. But if your sure better to stick on long term investment at least less risk.
