People call bitcoin ponzi scheme because many of cheat fund company run the fake website which is related to investment in bitcoin. And also people who have lack of knowledge and experience about cryptocurrency they called bitcoin fraud or ponzi scheme in their misunderstanding manners.

Yeah, because other people already experience being scammed using bitcoin but bitcoin is just a currency used by scammers, people must learn the difference from this.

Well it's their own faults that they've fallen for ponzis believing that it's easy and quick money. And then it'll be easy to point a finger generally at bitcoin for their own lack of understanding

Frankly speaking bitcoin has both its pros and  cons.In one hand, bitcoin is a great innovation which raise financial aspects in to a whole new level. The benefits obtained by its decentralization is immense. Fast transactions,security is prominent among all the other pros.However the miss use of  this great innovation forces people to talk down of it. However, more than ever now, people are well aware of block chain and its benefits. So the criticism  has reduced. In my perspective what everyone should understand is the evolution of currency will happen somehow although there are criticisms.

I have asked at least 20 people individually about what they understand with bitcoin.  So surprising to find out that all they know is that bitcoin is scam.  It only leads me to the conclusion that it really needs to study and make research to something you didn't know before giving your point of view to something.  The fact that what they only see in TV news and social media are the bad side of bitcoin due to people using it for scams.  If people would just do their research about it, they would reconsider that bitcoin is not that bad at all.

example, if you invest in a site that can double your bitcoin. but in the end you fuck up. and your bitcoin get scam.

Anyone can call it ponzi scheme and fraud but if you think of it, everything worldly is fraud. You buy apple products with thousands of dollars but how much are they really worth? Why would people give out thousands of dollars for a macbook when they can buy a laptop for $300? Is it really worth that much or is it just another ponzi scheme that apple is bringing to the world better gadgets than any other brands? So we're talking about bitcoin now. What are we really paying for when we buy bitcoin? We pay for an online program and the people running the program helping transactions go through, or we call mining. Miners put in so much time and most especially the cost of mining is so much. That is merely the reason why bitcoin will cost much and if incase it will dive too low and will not be enough to pay for miners, then that could be the time bitcoin will die, or not.

You may not able to control peoples opinion, it's theirs. Some of them are right, but not right in the sense that bitcoin is a ponzi or fraud. But many ponzi schemes and fraudulent activities have been done using bitcoin. While this also the case with other financial services, its as if they hammer more on bitcoin being fraud. But I see it that they do this because they are still struggling to fully accept bitcoin.
