The sleeping Giant. Bitbar the ultimate RARE crypto People have been quietly mining Bibar. So quite I have no seen a Bitbar thread in at least 8 months. The main reason is that bitbar was built to surpass bitcoin. It was designed to be a safety net for bitcoin just in case bitcoin had a major issue. NOW look at bitcoin on the edge of collapse from Transaction Malleability https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_MalleabilityI am seeing massive buying of bitbar.People who know about Bitbar are using it to secure there digital wealth while the people try and fix bitcoin Bitbar does not have Transaction Malleability issues and I would not be surprised if Bitbar surpasses bitcoin in 2014 Download Bitbar wallet:http://www.bitbars.net/downloads-bitbar-wallet/Bitbar information Page:http://www.bitbars.net/

I think Bitbar is interesting.
It's been around a long time now, by crypto standards. Miners have seen fit to keep it running, and the community -- although not terribly noisy -- has held together.
Looking at the chart, BTB is not presently being held up by a hoadring scam or a pump. It is a rare crypto, and there are investors who like the idea of chasing something that is rare issue. Look at what's happening right now with Unobtanium and BitGems. The current price of BTB (.07) is low compared to what it could be, and it's probably ripe for a good old fashioned pump.
I think BTB suffers a lack of awareness from bad marketing and a too-modest community. It's original idea as a store of value could still work, but the idea of being a backup for Bitcoin's failure is itself a failure and shouldn't even be articulated. BTB doesn't need BTC to fail to be successful.
BTB has a lot going for it on its own. It's a highly collectible rare cryptocoin for which there is an emerging rarecoin niche market. It has longevity behind it. It's highly liquid, listed on important exchanges in the U.S. and China. It's been vetted and it's still here. It's solid. The risk is now out of this coin, imo.
Bitbar's community now needs to find its voice and start articulating why people should care. A few services, a physical coin, updated website, a simple dev road map, some regular chatter in the info thread, some twitter chatter, and you suddenly have a new coin.
This coin is an important my portfolio and I'm stil accumulating from on dips. I think it's been overlooked in the relentless hype that goes to the crap-coin-dujour.
If you're a pumper, take a serious look at BTB. It can be moved a long with not too many btc. Pumps are always good for cleansing out stale sell orders, turn coins over, and getting a some attention on the coinmarket cap sites.

https://twitter.com/Cryptocoinbiz/statuses/434016110971592704Others also starting to take notice of BitBar. You just feel it... looking at that chart, and the lack of upside resistance, this coin really looks set for a take off soon.

Wow, a Bitbar thread!
The last thread on BTB I last read was about a person who was mad that people were selling off BTB for .3 after he bought some for 1.5 or something like that. Something about how this was gold and should be treated as such. Ah, good old days...

Holy shit, this nutjob is still alive Bitbar does not have Transaction Malleability issues and I would not be surprised if Bitbar surpasses bitcoin in 2014 Since bitbar is a sloppy litecoin clone, you bet your ass it has this issue as well. that made me laugh for some reason.... but yeah, blast from the past..... i remember once people were paying 3btc per bit bar. Who were those guys that used to swoop in after every launch and buy a huge bunch??? anyone remember I never heard from them again after they snapped up a ton of bitbar. Probably took the easy way out. However, i do think bitbar will rise from here. I have a few bars... just for fun.

It was fun at the start but Truecoin and the scam crew around BitBar made it fail quickly.

Please give the coin and the new community a chance. Hate the old guard if you must, but don't stand in our way of building a better Bitbar. It still has a very unique place in the crypto landscape. It is what is today, not what it was nearly a year ago. You'll find active Bitbar communities here: Reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/bitbar/Twitter https://twitter.com/bitbarnews

I'm now interested in BitBar again since it seems some active development is being pursued or at least there is some community push to have an active DEV take the lead. And with a price hovering near 0.01 it's at historic lows and a total minted supply of less than 12,000 is extremely rare vs other coins anywhere near the price of BitBar.
