I can only laugh at the total speed and at the zig zag graph. I am pretty sure that no other big mining operation has this kind of graph which shows ken's level of competence.

it is clear that ken is either reallocating hardware to other mining addresses, or the hasfast boards are failing faster than they can be replaced. either way it is a joke

It honestly wouldn't be surprising if the mining equipment was just failing. VMC/ACTM is a joke and incapable of running a smooth business.

Based on the shady shit I've seen from this motherfucker I'd also bet he is relocating hardware.  He needs to pay these upcoming fines and all these refunds.  Additionally and possibly buying back the shares.

Hopefully he goes to prison and gets a dick up his ass

its like clockwork when the hashrate drops. I've said before - its not difficult to create a basic cron file that will modify the cgminer parameters and reboot at specified times. I use this to underclock during 12-5pm when its most expensive, then back up to speed overnight. It can be used to change pool info (COUGH ACTM COUGH) and can even be set to act differently depending on day of the week or day of the month so that it looks 'random'

Really want an excuse for why the hashrate has more than halved in the span of two weeks - he cant possibly be selling them, at least not via the website. They must be either breaking down or being directed elsewhere. The lack of explanation is the kicker.

zumzero; you defend the company frequently, can you put a positive spin on this?

Ken has gone into hiding; even if there is a reason for the drop in hashrate such as power costs during that time window he won't respond here.

A good strategy would be for someone, such as Ken, to have their own private mining pool.  This pool is setup as the priority for the miners.  However, most of the time, this pool is off, so they fail-over to Eligius.   When Ken goes to bed, he switches the private pool back on (Reattaches the network cable for instance) which the miners then pick up on and switch over to.  He generates some coins he needs in his private wallet, and then switches it back off.

That way he doesn't need to redirect the miners all the time.  He just turns on his personal pool when he needs some coins.  Though, it's probably his project manager doing it to skim some coins off the top.  I doubt Ken is this savy.  I'm not even sure Ken knows how Bitcoins actually work.

Ken has gone into hiding; even if there is a reason for the drop in hashrate such as power costs during that time window he won't respond here.
power costs could not possibly be an issue with devices in the 1w/GH range, unless he was paying something outrageous like >$0.25/kWh for power and cooling during the middle of the peak hours, which would mean he built the least-profitable bitcoin mining farm when its much more likely he would have a location with total costs <$0.12 for combined cooling and power per 1kWh of hardware use which will be profitable for some time still.

the likely answers are problems with board failure or tripping fuses, hashrate redirection/theft, or the AC system being so massively underpowered that thermal throttling or high error rates may be occurring during the middle of the day.

someone savvy in the company could also do it. Ken might not be the kind of person who minds or notices an employee or family member redirecting coins like this, and there are likely a few other people besides him with access to the systems.
