So the pool still banned Chinese IP ? 

We are not banning Chinese IP's.  Something is blocking the traffic for the miner before it gets to our server, not sure what.  The same computer than can reach our server for http/https gets the miner traffic on port 4444 blocked before it gets to us.  Very strange but it is not us banning anything.  One person was able to use a VPN through Japan and get to the pool fine that way, it seems like something in China is blocking it. 

Maybe if we switched ports we used it could get through, what ports have you been able to use with other miners?

That security issue does not effect us.  We are not using stratum.  But thanks for pointing it out just in case it was something that would impact us.

However this is a good time to remind everyone of something important.  Do not use pools as a wallet.  We are not a bank to store your coins in.  Always configure your autopayout to an amount low enough that you will receive frequent payouts. 

This is especially true with this coin as it has a Proof of Stake function, you want to get the coins in your wallet quickly so you have less of a delay on that.

For the time being no short term, we need investors to vote on those matters as well, so General Fund first.

One of the most immediate means to dividends is my recent purchase of Dragon 1 TH miners. These will mine and sell, with 60% being given as dividends to investors, 15% going to company coffers and 25% going straight to buying NRS. This will help increase value and help with assuring investors that their money is not just sitting idle. For proof of purchase, please see the group buy section. Rather than always wait for large releases, i believe some constant streams of income will help investor confidence.

 I think it would be a good option to let it remain open for say 1 month or so and if released in time also be open it for Bitshares investment alongside of BTC/NRS/PTS.

And about letting PocketBits do marketing, in my opinion if he feels that he have the massive amounts of time need to get down to it, let him!

Thanks for the support. The general fund has weighted shares, and is the only open option until the exchange is public. This protects all intial investors (you guys) from the flood that will come when other realize the potential. Look at it this way, if you own 1 full share in the general fund, it's a full share in the exchange and should we released a DAC using only general funds, then you have a full share there as well. Your full share entitles you to a % of the mining returns from the Dragon miners and if i get the 20 pack gridseeds, that too.

Those who check up on me on skype know that once i get more developers aboard we will branch into Ethereum and Counterparty as soon as possible. Rather than be limited by platform, the only limits i can see are investor pockets and developer shortage. If i could just borrow two good c++ devs for a week, you'd see us churn real fast.

If you are looking for input there is not much to go on here to base any opinion on.  Unless I missed something all we have to look at is the post history of this person, and does that show what we need for someone to be Marketing and Legal Officer?

General fund will not have a cap although i will weight the shares of those who invest during the wait period of the exchange. These are the driving forces behind a lot of work so yeah, they deserve some recognition. all of you will have premium accounts on the exchange i.e no trade fees. Others who want premium accounts will pay through the nose.
