Actually, to become easier for us to determine when are possible perfect and right time to sell our bitcoin we must need to set first the bracket or percentage we want to earn profit from it. It is better that we have a limit so we can easily making decisions without hesitations.

Selling should be when price have appreciated from the entry price, giving some profit. For instance, with current price, some investors might not have made profit, so they have to still hold.

Well, I will sell my bitcoin when I need a cash and emergency purpose only, because I can hold my bitcoin as long as I can and i also have other job and my salary is enough for me to use in my expenses and besides the price of bitcoin now is not good for selling that is why we need to think first before we sell our bitcoin too.

Most of the time i do not sell my bitcoins but when i am in financial need of money and i don't have any option i sell a part of hard earned btc to convert it into fiat and cover my expenses.There are most of the shops or agencies which still didn't accept btc as payment so we need cash for that purposes.But most of the time i hodl my coins and gain profit when prices boost again.

Well it depends on you mate. If you are a day trader, you can sell your bitcoin even if you can earn a small amount as long as your capital investment earned. But in this situation, very high risk to invest in bitcoin because the fundamental and technical is very bad.

The question that had been getting harder to tell whenever a big fluctuation happens.
If there are more buyers at the 5 digit value in USD then they would still be looking for ROI means a lot of holders as of now and also the faithful ones.  

My own opinion? To sell? I dont really think much about it. I have my job and it gives for my necessities. I really want to see bitcoin being used at any store but with a better price also to stretch the number of items I can buy with the amount of bitcoin that I have.

I am not going to sell me bitcoins. I don't think that it will drop again. The BTC made his free fall last year $20k to $7k.. I would not say that there would be another fall. So i am BTC saver, wait for the rise. I would recommend you to not sell..

Crypto is still new and people are not yet acquainted with it. When more people will know about it, more people will use it. Since its no is fixed, its price will increase and it can go well beyond 20000$. That's when I'll sell my bitcoins.

There are many startegies people follow in crypto world.
Some are long term holder,
Some trade intraday,
Some trade weekly/Monthly

Let's understand different Scenarios.

1- It depends on your mindset, if you have bought earlier and satisfied with the profit, you can sell it now.

2- If you believe in crypto world and understand the technology , you must hold it for long and diversify your money into many different cryptocurrencies having good technical background like Ethereum and Ripple

3- If you want to trade, buy when it goes down and sell when it goes up. Repeat it everytime you might earn good profit.

I will sell my Bitcoin when its price is back to $ 20,000.

Because this is the price when I bought and dropped its price. So now I still buy a lot of bitcoins so my profit is bigger when it comes back to its previous price

I will also sell my bitcoin if the price is back at $20,000 or it will surpass that price. As of now the price of bitcoin is on the down of a hill so that I think I will not sell it and I will just hold it. It really depends on the situation. If I really need the money i will sell it, and if i don't need it for some "wants" i will hold it till i make a profit. But in some situations for example (this is a "want" not a need)i find a nice deal on mountain bike part/s i will sell some so that i can impulse buy. Sometimes you gotta have some ground rule. I have a ground rule, for example this is the amount of your bitcoin let say 1 btc, i will add 20-30% increase if it increases that much i will withdraw it and if it decrease in like 20-30% i will definitely withdraw it without having second thoughts. But yeah i'm a impulse buyer sometimes so i withdraw whenever i see some really good deals.

i am in it for the long run, I believe in bitcoin long term and think in 5 years the situation will be incredible. you should sell some maybe to recoup losses after this horrible bear market but im not looking to sell any time soon, i believe there is huge future potential

If I were you I'd invest it in a cryptobank like Baanx or Binance or any of the major cryptobanks, then you wont have to worry about it's price drop

Target to sell bitcoin will be different for different people.  
Suppose one person buys bitcoin few years back @200$ per bitcoin.  At current market price he if decides to sell will still earn several times more than his initial investment.  
Now one person bought one  btc @ say 15k last year and missed to book profit later when the price touched even +20k.  If he decides to sell he will have to suffer big loss.  So he may be deciding to hold and wait for the price to again touch higher levels.

So we can not generalize this issue.

Thats right. Its depends on the owner and the situations. If you really need the money, then go sell it, but if you just wanted to sell it because of the price drops f bitcoin, i think you'll regret it later, because bitcoin will increase again later, it wont die because it dont have competitor. Patiencw is what you need when you're investing on bitcoin.
