I really hope this coin get's somewhere, not because I invested into it, but because if it dies, it means that wolong, a manipulator wins and the community loses.

This is bigger then just a coin, it's a symbol to me. Right now, we're letting that dickface of a douche get away with it.

PANDA buy orders are about to be exhausted too.

Both coins are losing atm lol.

There are too many alts and pump and dumps, think chances are people will come back to some coins like PND since no premine. We'll see.

Maybe after the block halving?

There's been attempts to pump it but none of them have worked, the sell pressure from the mine and dumpers is too much at the current diff.

We'll just have to wait and see.

When we can expect block halving with currently network strength?

Each minute one block is generated, whatever rate nethash and the diff is.
We are now at Block 38,900 an blockhalving starts with Block 50,000
Use a calculator and you will see when we are aprox near the Block 50,000
Each Day 24x60 Block is 1440 Blocks. 50,000 - 38,900 = 11,100
11,100 / 1440 = 7.7 days

So on 2014-03-22 we will reach block halving.
Minimun one miner must keep mining to reach the target.
If the last miner stops mining before, we won´t reach Block 50,000

What does the community think about a static block reward that would replace the current random one once block 50k is reached?

I'm in favor of it but need some opinions.

dont copy doge  Wink i thought they were doing the exact same thing...
although I see some benefits in static block reward... You can get a much better idea of coin estimate a day per MHs

How about you set blockrewards 100k
And a few "special" blocks per hour... like 2mil PND...

And if you really like to shuffle up... add POS or something... that way miners actually come back since thats all the hype lately Wink

Like 3% stake per 20/30days... then the actual holders get rewarded as well

I've been planning on it from the day the coin was released as it seems to be rather beneficial.

I will be thinking about special rewards but no guarantee. PoS is not an option.

The coin cannot be sold easily so the miners are deserting. We need to find some use for it, not just for trading into other coins.

The coin cannot be sold easily so the miners are deserting. We need to find some use for it, not just for trading into other coins.

For this purpose we're constantly contacting new services to find and gain more use. The problem is that it's hard to convince people accepting the coin when value is near zero.

We do have coinpayments though so that's a huge advantage.

Fixed reward is better imo.

I'm kind of against special rewards though, it just means the multipools will come along a few blocks beforehand, take the special reward and then leave. Unless there's a way so that only miners who have been active for a set time beforehand are eligible (this doesn't seem possible to me) or perhaps a random block between say 199500 and 200500 yields the special reward so no one knows when it will happen?

Well people have had all week to remove those walls. This isn't going to make any difference.
