Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Good to see new miners there. I see new impovements on multipool like doge support, profit calculation. But most important thing for me is hash growing.

If you want to build it yourself, the source is available at https://github.com/pandacoin-official/pandacoin/commits/release.

Are you using norton?

Nah using ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5...

It's a different error tho, it's just claiming it was a Blocked Object.. normally it would show the trojan it thinks it has although, in all the clients i've downloaded from various coins (despite people claiming of a false positive bitcoin trojan) i've not had my antivirus complain once. Except for today - probably because previous versions were zipped and perhaps chrome is complaining therefore triggering the antivirus to fire up. It's ok i'll just remove it from quarantine and run it, i don't have a copy of visual studio handy to compile it Cheesy

*Edit*

Also i noticed the wallet i'm using currently is already v1.5.4.0 Shocked

Looks like it's indeed the installer causing problems. You should also check virustotal where eset claims it's a variant of Win32/BitCoinMiner.BJ , so I guess they aren't too far off.

This is just the installer that will write the files necessary to use it under windows. You can find the usual zip files in the first post if you prefer the portable version.

Just https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=464476.msg5942250#msg5942250, our first DNS seed and a few fixes for the OSX builds but I suppose that won't affect win32.

Sweet, i might give it a miss then this time round. I've not had any problems with nodes or the like since launch. If i was impatient on the sync then i'd just add a node from one of my two dedicated servers which have the daemon running on them anyway and serve up the data for the pnd blockchain explorer ...but sync has been pretty quick overall and i've not needed to utilize them as such.

I would like this but the question would be how to get some cameras to the right place.

I get this error after upgrading to the latest version:

"errors" : "Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade."

Any clue?

Any clue?

After the fork happened there have been two pools (http://panda-mine.us and http://panda.moonishere.com) keeping the wrong fork alive which causes disagreement between the clients.

I've already messaged them about it. As long as they keep building the wrong blockchain, it will probably stay like that.

Edit:

I've pushed an update (https://github.com/pandacoin-official/pandacoin/commit/ba144ba7) for the wallet. If you're running the client from the command line you can just add -disablesafemode in order to do transactions.
