Awesome idea guys. I like the efforts to reach out to other coins instead of competing with them. I think that's also what the pandacoin stands for: make love, not war Cheesy

As already mentioned dropping more BTC on buying votes on Mintpal is a waste of money. Why should we let them line their own pockets at our expense? Increasing bounties, giveaways or competitions, charitable donations would all be better than spending more on bribing Mintpal.

If the UTC guys want to spend $2000 then let them, don't forget they are desperate after what happened with the old exchange they were on. I am happy to wait 2 more days, chillax pandas. We actually have a good community and solid user base which isn't just full of the same 5 bagholders desperately propping up their thread in the hope they can break even. 50+ BTC volume in the last 24 hours on Cryptorush, the bigger exchanges cannot ignore this, it's up to them who wants the trading fees.

UTC is going to crash the second it hits Mintpal, calling it now.

I agree that it is not smart to end up in a bidding war but we must make sure we are first this Friday.
Maybe spent a little bit after UTC has been added just to discourage the other coins Wink

First; What is wrong with swisscex? I  can't open the page for over 12h now.

Second;

Signing an agreement that we won't buy more votes doesn't me we should stop voting!!
Use your free votes, we still have a voting to win next Friday.

i'm actually pretty sick of this voting shit.... i mean... if you make a new coin.... and are a big holder of btc yourself... you can buy youre own coin in so to speak.... that doesnt seem right at all.... thats more like scamming people mintpal!

they should set a maximum of btc donations for each coin... and let peoples voting do the rest

MINTPAL! if you read this... WHAT are you doing with donated funds!? PLS show us you REALLY put it back into the website... (how do you add 4k plus to a website in a week.... you got servers on the moon? Wink

Mintpal should donate it like coinpayment does.
Coinpayment donates 100% of what it makes from votes.
They're awesome. I can't say the same for greedy ol' mint.

eventually people will leave that site because this is getting out of hand... so they prefer to make a quick buck of donations... rather then profiting on our tading fees for the long run

if this goes on... bye bye mintpal in 2 months  Wink

We're also accepting payment votes! We've put a lot of time and capital in to making the exchange, and we believe it's only right to let users show their confidence in new coins by allowing them to use their wallets. Each 0.00005000 BTC received will count for 1 vote. All payment votes will be publicly visible, as you can see by clicking the addresses below, and will go directly to improving MintPal's infrastructure.
