Wow people. Chill the fawk out. This coin has been up and down, and now its finally getting back on track, enough negative, its being worked on, the devs are here, whatever the outcome of the coin, we support it, fork or not. Stop harassing devs and supporters that are helping. If you have issues move to another coin. Dont jump in here like you have a clue about whats going on, when you cant tell the difference between the devs and supporters. We are not hijacking shit, we own the coin.

Go Flap Go.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

IM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT A FORK. IM COMPLAINING ABOUT THE FACT THAT YOU ARE HIJACKING A COIN.
I will not update my pool to some random fucking sourcecode that EXCHANGES ARE NOT ON.
YOU GUYS NEED TO COLLABORATE WITH EXCHANGES.
YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE WEBSITE.
WTF. A MAJORITY OF THE HASHRATE HAS TO BE ON THIS CLIENT.

They have been talking about this for weeks (I've been involved in the discussions in this thread so I am saying that from personal knowledge.) If I remember correctly the new dev already reached out to exchanges and at least some of them expressed interest in this and said they would go with the new fork if it was well organized.

Moonpool I know you have a short temper but you have an awesome fucking pool so please get on board with us. Everyone is behind this. It's not a rogue takeover the original dev has been cooperating and gave the reigns over to this new dev because the old one just can't really handle it.

NEW DEV - If you want me to help with coordinating/communicating with the exchanges I can do that. Just shoot me a PM.

We are aware of that.

Are you aware this has been in discussions for 2 weeks and I am the lead developer and do have access to all of that? The only thing I don't have access to is pointing the DNS towards the new website which I still have to contact and let the old developer know where it's being pointed to.

If you feel uneasy we apologise, but we have given notice and contacted exchanges and such. Stop causing confusion, and stop saying this is hijacking.

Code:
[21:42] <trixisowned> WE ARE ON THAT VERSION  <--- this is moonpool
[21:42] <trixisowned> ALL THE EXCHANGES
[21:42] <trixisowned> AND POOLS
[21:42] <trixisowned> WTF
[21:42] <trixisowned> you are chaing to the "flapcoin" source
[21:42] <trixisowned> which causes a hardfork
[21:42] <trixisowned> among other things
[21:43] <trixisowned> which requires the exchanges etc to update
[21:43] <trixisowned> this coin is already dead
[21:43] <trixisowned> you are killing it even more by not having the websites etc
[21:43] <trixisowned> before you try to hijack this
[21:43] <trixisowned> god i dont understand what you are doing
[21:43] <trixisowned> enjoy
[21:43] <trixisowned> im not moving my pool
[21:43] <trixisowned> until a official word is out
[21:43] <trixisowned> on the official sites
[21:43] <trixisowned> this coin is a clusterfuck
[21:44] <thimo> can you read'
[21:44] <trixisowned> "OMG!
[21:44] <trixisowned> I already downloaded the client and opened it.
[21:44] <trixisowned> am i safe now?"
[21:44] <trixisowned> durrr
[21:44] <trixisowned> already posts in the thread
[21:44] <trixisowned> from idiots
[21:44] <trixisowned> because you dont get it
[21:44] <trixisowned> p[eople will just download that
[21:44] <trixisowned> what you posted
[21:44] <trixisowned> and run it
[21:44] <trixisowned> DURRR
[21:45] == googolhash [googolhash@unaffiliated/bencoinanke] has joined #flappycoin
[21:46] <thimo> no problem in that
[21:46] <thimo> because that is the newest correct version for windows
[21:46] <trixisowned> you are idiots
[21:46] <trixisowned> im going to continue to post in the thread
[21:46] <trixisowned> enjoy
[21:46] <trixisowned> it will cause panic
[21:48] <trixisowned> im going to dump the fuck out of the ltc market right now as well
[21:48] <trixisowned> enjoy your crash
[21:48] <trixisowned> fuck you
[21:48] <truh> which commit have you compiled?
[21:49] <trixisowned> who the fuck knows
[21:49] <trixisowned> theres like 4 githubs now
[21:49] <trixisowned> how awesome for a coin to have multiple githubs with no clue who the fuck the dev is
[21:49] <trixisowned> or anything

All i did was change things that do not involve the blockchain.

Publicly posting the wallet binaries was probably premature (and easily rectified)...

Moonpool, do you know that we plan this last tree weeks?
Probably no
I run one of the biggest flappy pools, I've been forced to follow this idiotic thread for the past three weeks read the idiocy in here.
I don't give a shit how long you planned it, if you don't have 51% of the network on it, this doesn't matter.
Get the website together, get the exchanges actually saying they will update to this one, and then announce it.
You guys are really shit at actually communicating, especially when YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THE BIGGEST POOL ON BOARD.
I wanted this coin to go somewhere from the start, and now its just going even more into the shitter

[21:48] <trixisowned> fuck you
By the way, just because im not bullshitting here. I just sent a ridiculous amount to poloniex, I will dump the fuck out of this if you guys dont get your shit together

I should just step in and also say I have asked the Dogecoin community for help and some of the multipools and some pools are willing to distribute roughly 250 M/hash until this all goes over.

We would request you act mature about this, but looks like i'll actually be needing that extra power from Doge community now, we thought everyone would be on board but clearly not, and if this is the way you run a pool I suggest anyone on that pool switch immediately. I used to mine on your pool actually, pulling my clients/miners down.

This is not fair to the community to act like a child and try to do this now, we have been discussing this for weeks, I tried to contact you, and some people never responded. So if your idea was to wait until now and then try to do this little shit fit  what can I tell you. Other then that's sad.

Sorry guys if moonpool causes any issues with forking. We are getting in contact with a few pools(much larger and multi pools) that may be able to make sure he can not cause a divide.

I apologise for the inconvenience some people can cause to a community for not being able to work together like adults.

Wallet software and daemons are fine it's seeming for anyone wondering and I can't apologise enough to the community we have to deal with this level of maturity at times.

Sorry it came to this, but we can't discuss any of that now. Drastic measure it seems.

Everyone on miningwithus is requested to take their miners down.

A quick update to the front page of this thread is probably prudent aswell (remove link, announce that wallet compiled and about to have launch) Wink

Also just in case moonpool is unaware. No one released anything yet. We had code changed/issues and are testing them now. Everyone was told not to download that wallet until we have confirmation the code is fine, and confirmation daemon and wallet is working correctly.

Moonpool is trying to act like we already pushed it out. We didn't. We are updating you guys and letting you know it's in for testing. Worst case scenario we may need to change hard fork block if we find any issues and it get's delayed. We shouldn't, and only a few things have been changed and updated.

You've just released an update that will hard fork without even bothering to get guarantees that over half the network will update along with it, and then go on to admit that you are going to need help from some dogepool owners and possibly go cap in hand to multipools to see it through, and you cant work out why the guy with one of the larger pools is a bit pissed off?

Its wildly optimistic at best, grossly negligent at worst. Running to the multi's to see this through will kill your little revival dead, because they will dump dump dump until it really is worth less than nothing. 3 weeks of closed conversations and a bit of posting in here is not good communication, making bitchy reddit posts and instructing people to dump his pool is beyond childish, even if he is sounding off in here.

Wow dude.

Quite ridiculous that I have to post this.

I am the owner of http://miningwith.us.

The "new devs" are trying to hijack this coin without any actual access to any of the websites or any of the original githubs.

They did not contact exchanges, they did not contact pools(I NEVER GOT ANY EMAIL AT ALL, EVER), and now they are clearly trying to take over this coin so they can be the "new devs".

They just randomly released compiled version that will cause hardforks without even consulting ANYONE, and now this is posted.

Also just in case moonpool is unaware. No one released anything yet. We had code changed/issues and are testing them now. Everyone was told not to download that wallet until we have confirmation the code is fine, and confirmation daemon and wallet is working correctly.

flappycoin, can you please edit the 1st page of this thread so it doesn't say released April 18th next to the 2.0.1 wallet? That is going to confuse exchanges if I reach out to them and they check this page.

THERE'S NO NEW WALLET. Disregard anything moonpool has said.

Anyone can recompile/change a code and cause a fork, that doesn't matter. He is a miner and seems to understand how the blockchain works, so he must be aware it goes by majority rule. I can create a fork on bitcoin right now, doesn't mean it does anything.

He is trying to blow this out of proportion and at this point I can no longer respond to this sillyness. If you're unwilling to work with us we can't let the community fail due to that.

It's suggested everyone continues to take miners off the pool.

That's correct. I'll edit that. Thank you, didn't notice that immediately and you're right. We don't want confusion now.

Awesome, thanks. Also is the new wallet up on flappycoin.info or is it still being tested? I want to be able to tell them exactly where to get the new wallet and if it is on flappycoin.info that will be the most trustworthy source.

And we wonder why I am so annoyed here?
I posted almost 4 times before you guys released this new source about how I had no clue what github we were on and how no one knows what source we are supposed to be using.
This is still the case.
Is this coin called flapcoin now?
https://github.com/FlapCoin/flapcoin
That is what it is according to whatever this github supposedly is.

That isnt even the original github, this is: https://github.com/flappycoin-project/flappycoin
No. It's still flappycoin.

The correct fork/github is flapcoin due to at the time we we're rebranding. But we no longer need rebranding as old devs came back and gave over rights. We didn't have access to certain things and still don't, so the correct github fork is flapcoin.

https://github.com/FlapCoin

We can and will change the name back once we get all areas under control. We have been given full control of 90% of material, old devs still wanted to wait before changing over one or two other things for the full take over and switch over.

I don't want to fight and I am sorry moonpool if no one contacted you. But we can't do this, not now. A week ago we could of argued like cats and dogs, but after the delay and issues it's important to get this tested and out/have everyone on board.

lol.
"rebranding" is the new word for hijack I guess? That didn't go well so you had to stick with flappycoin?
Hmmm.
90%? What on earth does that even mean?
I seriously don't see what the hell you guys are trying to do here, looks like you are trying to kill it even more than it already was.

I believe we may be having a communication problem.

What was said: We we're doing rebranding for a hostile take over. However old developers came back, liked our ideas, couldn't do the work any more and decided to give over control. So that means rebranding is no longer needed.
