WOW, today network hashrate 34 000 TH/s  View Screen CaptureNow we have generated about 4481 BTC/day or 3 milion usd per day !!! Who shall to pay ? Who should pay? Does anybody get a bill for the 4481btc (which is odd number, when you think that there get generated 25btc blocks only, don't you think?)? PS: And just FYI: The hashrate gets determined by the price (of btc and hashes/second), not the other way around. Just because I need 5 hours to take a shit, my shit is not more valuable then yours... (except I shit a diamond) |

(except I shit a diamond) I think hes pointing out that the hashrate is far ahead of the difficulty, which is true. We are generating coins much quicker than we "should" therefore increasing the inflation. As for why 4481? Its an estimated number by a mining profit calculator. It doesnt account for block size, just the expected return in 24 hours. |

What you are missing is that some will leave when it becomes even more unprofitable and the difficulty will drop.
Also, there will always newbies doing it and people that just want to support the network. Extra funds permitting,
I will probably mine the rest of my life. Heck, I've been running 3 Jales till just recently. Now I'm just running the Saturn. You leave out the fact that many have free electricity - kids at their parents house and many in apartments or using the servers at work(which I don't agree with and could do the same myself).

For the growth price we need another Mtgox that will artificially to raise the price, and then turn into a white dwarf, and bumm White dwarfs don't go boom, at least not by themselves; they just get cold over time and fade into a black dwarf.  EDIT: pretty much what the Sun is predicted to do, after it swallows a few of the inner planets. |

For next two month they will have 250k usd, and at the end of 2014 years, they will have only 50k usd !!! they will lose 950k usd for just one year, or 95% their money !!!
