It is great how you are pumping retailer adoption, but imho we need some kind of USD exchange before being successful doing this.
Is there already some kind of plan for this?

Some great ideas, I love to always think BIG as well and this idea is being given serious consideration.
Here is an excerpt from a conversation I am having on the exact same topic with some very interesting ideas.

The structure has to be the key and it has to be built around Uruguayan farmers with writing that states as much. Structuring it around a foundation that runs an agriculture school with an emphasis on marijauna to educate all of these farmers, basically create a co-op out of them and for their ongoing training the foundation receives 10% of their revenue. Or, the foundation purchases land and find farmers to educate and work the land for eventual ownership, until then the foundation would get a 50/50 split.

There should also be something in there about 5-10% of the foundation proceeds go to infrastructure and the environment in the surrounding areas of the farms.

You tie the whole thing together with a nice marketing campaign that subtle and classy, which segways into a future of cannabis tourism with numbers from places like Amsterdam and now Colorado and Washington  as baselines.

Now you bring up the DopeCoin idea as a side package and show how this foundation will actually work towards successfully stabilizing the first cryptocurrency which them investing in in its infancy would near guarantee not only an incredible return on investment, but also place Uruguay in a unique spot in the world.

I imagine there could be special land subsidies given and consignments through the political structure that it would greatly influence foreign investment.

Oh, I don't expect it to steady out at 1k or more for a few weeks, or even a couple months. You gotta think long-term here. I'm thinking by end of 2014, this coin will be worth around 2-3k Satoshis...As long as the creators keep up the hard work and continue making connections for that time, which I'm sure they will.

FYI: Jamaica has a zero tolerance policy regarding herb...lots of people think it's legal there, but it's not...which is stupid, because 80% of the population of Jamaica smokes herb, and you can buy it almost anywhere on the island.

The dick-swinging US feds grease the Jamaican government and the DEA furnishes the Jamaican cops with guns and helicopters to help fight the ridiculous War on Drugs (aka War on People)...shame on those evil game-players; their time will come.

Hats off to Uruguay for legalization; I guess the US (aka "the neighborhood bully") has no effect on them. Kudos.
