I've been working on Skype for a while with Dopecoindude in the background of this scene. I could no longer stand idly by when I realized it's up to the whole community to make a coin successful. So with Dopecoindudes approval and help, we've come up with a template for everyone to use to start contacting retailers. We would prefer retailers with shopify, or woocommerce however, I'm guessing we can figure stuff out for people without that if need be. The following is a template you can use to contact your favorite shops(Seed stores/pipe and smoke shops/grow shops etc)

Hello, I am contacting you on behalf of Dopecoin. We are currently looking for retailers to accept our currency. The Dopecoin development staff is very interested in the products and services you offer, and believe we have something to offer you as well. Dopecoin is a cryptocurrency very similar to Bitcoin however it stands apart from Bitcoin in a few key ways:
1.) We offer faster transaction times, most of the time Dopecoin transactions clear within a few seconds, where as Bitcoin transactions can take hours.
2.) We use a more secure algorithm than Bitcoin, making transactions safer.
3.) Assuming you decide to hold on to some Dopecoin you would be able to do what's called Staking and make more money.
4.) We are a cryptocurrency tailored towards the cannabis industry, and we would like to garner support from others in this industry as well as support them too.

We've already got 3 online Smoke shops accepting our currency, and would love to keep adding more retailers, and we will offer any support in adding our currency to your site that is needed.

I've just sent this template off to 2 different companies and am awaiting a response, we really need to start on-boarding retailers as it will increase the value of this coin meaning more investors. DopeCoin End of the Month Report For March

• New website close to launching just putting final touches on it. After this launch a lot of things go in motion.

Keep in mind we have a new website! http://www.dopecoin.com . Also, we have some new logos and images going to be added to it. We are backing down the guy fawkes masked.


Our New Dev’s have been working on new wallet aspects

• Encryption/ Anon. features are to be looked at and integrated.
• We have integrated Block Explorer, IRC and secure messaging into the latest wallet.  This is by far our biggest update as the wallet will have an update very shortly!

More stuff ongoing and in progress …

• Integration into CointoPay.com – we’ve been accepted into their system which will enable merchants to accept Dopecoin on shopify, wordpress etc.,etc.,  to exchanged out to fiat if you are merchant accepting DopeCoins.

This is all set! You can turn your wordpress, shopify or woocommerence store to accept DopeCoin!

• Cannapay.io has opened Beta for us and we are currently checking it out to see how its applicable to us.

• DebitCards progress stalled as the dev. team I’m dealing with hasn’t responded back just waiting for them to respond.

• Reached out to coinomi.com to be included in their android wallet .

We are still talking with Coinomi. It seems they will be adding our coin in the near future after they have integrated ShapShift.

• Reaching out to GrowCoin about acquiring or helping their cryptogrowstore ( seed store ).

Marketing outreach in progress or coming …

• We plan on re-vamping our current merchants and been talking to pixskull.com to expand their offerings and display DopeCoin more prominently in their store. Then there will be an outreach to onboard more merchants to accept DopeCoin.

We are in talks with a few other stores currently!

• We’ve reached out to a few DopeBabes for Marketing purposes and have a few signed up and ready to go. We’ll be developing some videos around it and also getting some representation at Cannabis Cup ( Denver hopefully !)
• We are also doing a continuing to reach out to merchants as you can see Detedagowa merchant template.

EDIT: Should have included that our Charlo Green pitch hit a snafu because her Dispensary got raided!  Hopefully, she'll reach out to us again soon!

I just contacted several more retailers. I have yet to hear back from the two I contacted yesterday, but I'm hopeful that eventually a few should contact me back, hopefully with some good news. :O The more retailers we get the more value the coin should have due to being able to actually use it like money!~ <3 So everyone else should join in!~ :3

Absolutely, any dispensaries we could get on board would be a winning goal pegged or otherwise. Also NORML is huuuge, and if we could garner support or press from them what so ever it could put us in the spotlight for potential crypto-savvy investors in the cannabis industry.
