Coin is 36 hours old, network hashrate is costantly growing, difficulty is heading toward 20.
This thread is 40 pages long (and we moved here from an even longer one)
We're already on 2 exchanges and soon there will be first software update lowering transactions fees.

DEV is busy fixing transactions fees.
That fee is a bit  at the moment, it help not to overgrow blockchain but it hurts pools (pools may pay for transactions more than what they charge their miners if their miners withdraw small amounts)
It also hurts community since it prevent small donations (a guy just posted 3dope tx fee request on a 5 dope transactions)

I bet once he fixes it he will organize another giveaway. Did you try the faucet btw?

Not that it helps hugely, On the plus side, the fees go back to the miners, making it more profitable to mine.

Fellow miners, we do have a problem. Transactions fee are killing us, some people set autopayment at 5 DOPE or lower, we charged 0.1 dope txfee, and paid 2-3. You can imagine the result..

We did already cover the loss with our funds but we're going now to raise up minimum withdrawal at 500 DOPE with 10dope txfee (or what Dopey suggests meanwhile he fix the problem).

I feel kinda tricked.
Not only you raised the pool fees a bit fast (that's not that much a problem 1% is fair I guess), but in addition you raised the payout fee to 2%.
Why don't you just raise the minimum payout amount if small payouts are a problem? I need to mine half a day for 500 DOPE and there are some miners with much lower hashrate who are taking much longer to get to the payout. Since I experienced some coin loss at some other coins due to pool crashes I am very cautious with high payout limits (had set a limit of 100 DOPE of my own before, so that transaction fees shouldn't drive the pool owner into bankruptcy).

Ehm the 10 txfee you're paying .. you're not paying them to us. (seems like you're saying we're taking 2% of your earned coins, but its the network getting them)
We have no problem lowering it. What would you suggest? I'm fine with whatever amount that cover real tx fee, we don't want any gain on it and we kept 0.1 and 0.2 till a couple of hours ago even if we were losing money, I even asked for Dopey help in chosing correct tx fee amount..

Also I don't understand why you fixed a payout rate of 500 DOPE. If someone want a 10DOPE payout with the fee mentioned above it shouldn't be your concern, since you don't have to pay any of the fee anymore.
Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh before, as said before I just lost some coins due to pool crashes and I feel much safer if I can keep my coins waiting at pools or sitting on exchanges at a reasonable minimum (of course I am far off calling you a scammer, but unfortunately accidents can happen to anybody).

dont worry about the fees ppl, we are looking into it and it will be fixed soon... and all those that upgrade will get additional coins from an update giveaway ( we will use the same system we used with leaf ).

partially levelling out any fees you are currently paying.

for now a temporary fix for pools is to increase the automatic payout setting.

also fees are being given back to miners.

Don't worry I feel your point, I'm a miner myself and I know the feeling when a pool crash  

You got the point, we don't know what is current transaction fee, sometimes it's 0 sometimes is 15! I noticed it cause we were losing funds..
I'll set it to 5. I'm sure Dev will fix it and we can lower it soon. We will lower also minimum withdrawal don't worry.
It would be nice if Dopey can clarify how txfee it's currently calculated, but he and MCG will probably fix the issue before we solve the puzzle.

What amount would you suggest as manual and auto payout tx fee if you'd be a fair pool admin ? We set 5 now and we'd like to lower it.
