Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ?

Switched to electrum as main wallet before about month or so cause bitcoin-qt take redicoulous amount of resurces and time to sinchronise with network and using Coinbase on mobile but thinking to change that cause Coinbase sometimes need few hours for single confirmation.

If you don't have control of your keys you don't have control of your btc.    As much as I trust coinbase to keep my btc there is still trust involved.

Add to that the fact that coinbase does blockchain analysis to  prohibit certain uses makes me not want to use them.

I used to have my coins stored in Armory but after trying out electrum and then seeing how simple it is to use, there's no turning back. Not only that, it is fast, I would say secure as well and I like the set of 12 words seed that I actually can memorize by hard. So it's bitcoin no matter where I go. How cool is that.

bitcoin core always, i like, very simple and pwoerful, and i'm not too afraid to DL the blockchain, with one ssd can be done in 45 mins

i tried multibit, but i find it lacking, armory, seems very complete but the setup appear to be time consuming, not as a fast as cCore

I use core on my desktop pc and electrum on my laptop. HD wallets like electrum are great for quickly setting up a wallet (don't have to wait days to download the blockchain ) even more so now it's bundled with Tails OS.

Depends. I use all kinds. Mostly Breadwallet and sometimes Coinbase for small amounts if I still have any left after buying. Breadwallet is nice since I can have an instant backup with the phrase in case I lose my phone. Pretty sure I'd be entirely locked out of coinbase for a while if I lost my phone. I'd use my computer, but I'm honestly to afraid I'd have some sort of malware on it. I should look into using a multisig wallet.

I am using Bitcoin Core. It is still listed as first choice on bitcoin.org and when I was starting with bitcoin I dowloaded it first. But I am tech noob and I
want to ask what is a multisig wallet? Is it better? And what is its purpose?

The new version of Bitcoin Core actually has quite a few improvements. It's come a long ways since the beginnings. Much better now.

Don't keep your coins online, if they can get hacked your in trouble.

I think keeping coins on blockchain.info and having their paper wallet downloaded is safe enough. Because they do not keep private keys in plain text. Those are encrypted by our password. So, even if the DB is hacked, attacker can not open it unless they know our password.

PC can be infected by malware and you may lose all your coins. Use paper wallet instead.

bitcoin core for my pc which works very well but wish it could start a bit faster. blockchain app on my smartphone that contains a small amount only as it is online storage. nothing can beat the blockchain app.

I use Coinbase as a way to hold small amounts of Bitcoin (Up to 0.1 BTC max). When it reaches that, then I'll transfer it over to my electrum wallet. I use Electrum, rather than any other alternative because it is a simple program, which makes it easy to use. Plus, it doesn't take up much space at all, so it's great for me. I use CoinBase over other online wallet alternatives because it was the very first wallet I used (apart from Bitcoin Core), which was back in 2013. I still use it, and I think it's great.

I use multibit as it is easy to use, has a lot of functionality(pgp sigs) and there is no one to worry about but myself. Obviously as I get more I will create some backups but for now it is adequate!

I switched to Electrum. It give you the ability of really configuring your transactions. You can even set the fees, set multiple output addresses, and so on. It also generates your addresses deterministically from a seed made up from multiple english words you have to write down. Rather nifty!
