It is interesting that in all these 30 pages, no one mention BitcoinXT Cheesy

Check out how old this thread is. 29 of the 30 pages you talk about were before bitcoin XT even was a thing.

(I'm certainly not using bitcoin XT and said it before, I have installed Mycelium, Core, Copay and Schildbach and use them in about this order.)

I use Bitcoin QT. It is the original standard wallet and offers good enough security for everyday transactions. For my phone I use Bitcoin for Android. I like the QR code scanner and how I can easily pay for coffee with my phone.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

Using any online coin holder is like running down the street with your wallet tied to a string 100 ft behind you. You take a chance that they'll close up and your coins will be lost forever, or like blockchain.info, going down for hours while you can't touch your coins.

- For bitcoin storage I generate paper wallets with vanitygen and transfer my bitcoins there.
- For small amounts and view only addresses I use BitPurse (a bitcoin wallet made in python) on my smartphone.
- For a node I use Bitcoin XT (to support BIP 101 and larger blocksize limit)

I agree. I've been using it for a while now and it's never given me any issues.

I am using mycelium by the way most of the bitcoiners are using mycelium wallet or blockchain wallet ..but I will always suggest to use a paper wallet so there will be always a backup of your funds

I am not sure about that. Most of the bitcoiners are using Bitcoin Core, Electrum, and Multibit. Most of the Android users are using mycelium.

Most of the users that are using blockchain.info are newbies. Since more experienced bitcoiners would never trust their money to the online education wallet, even though it was never hacked.

I am using block chain web wallet
My transactions are small amounts so I do not fear being hacked or the site down
And I used it because it is very easy to create a wallet within seconds

Many experienced users are actually using blockchain.info wallet. They do understand how things work and hence follow the following security practice...

i. Always keep the blockchain.info addresses downloaded in paper wallet format. This way, even if blockchain.info goes dark, coins are safe.

ii. Try, not to re-use an address with big balance for sending, blockchain.info is known to mess up RNG. For receiving, it has no effect though.

iii. Uses a strong password, preferably an alphanumeric combination of 10+ characters.

If you have your private keys downloaded, then blockchain.info downtime will be irrelevent to you. You'll be able to spend from other wallets by importing those keys.
