Anyone know if our multipools were mining Whitecion at anytime?
I heard they were and possibly are right now, but they have crazy hash raping it right now. But Whitecoin is by definition a shitcoin. It's premined. I laugh at the poor noobs who buy into it not aware that premined coins never make it in this community. Why else has MINT struggled to go anywhere despite lots of marketing and other efforts. |

Anybody here plan to invest in this coin for a long term? From what I read so far it seams like most people are looking for a short term and will dump this coin like a cheap whore once it reach $1 or $2. I think if this goes well it could go $100 - $300 in the long term, or any amount more than LTC and BTC but not surpass BTC because the code depends on BTC. Unless the dev somehow invent something novel (not just implementation of some existing algo like kecchak or groestl).
I really think finally POS will beat BTC. Looking at the dev-team and the community, I think; Blackcoin has no competition. So, it will be very difficult for someone to buy my BC. |

I think one of the major + of this coin is this provide a potential of a real stable digital currency. If this just goes up in a slow but stable pace like as low as 3-4% a year, in 1-2 year people will see more value in this than BTC. BTW I got no more BTC or DOGE to shield until coinbase release my next BTC batch |

Could we get a "getting started" guide on the multipool? I can't imagine it would be that hard to convince gamers to make money. As a community we could probably afford a really huge marketing campaign for the multipool. Also, has anyone bought a Steam gift card from blackcoinstore.com yet? I'm guessing "run your computer while your not using it for steam games" would be extra effective. Reddit, facebook, and adwords all seem like good places to start. Also, in some way pointing out that it's been consistantly the most profitable multipool would be good. Wonder how many amateur miners we could get. edit: If you think about it, it's kind of funny. Advertising in order to get cryptocurrency miners for other coins would be stupid, you would be only increasing your competition as a miner. In this case you would be increasing the value of the coin and growing the coin's community at the same time. |
