A little help on POS with the wallet  please.

Two days ago I deposited some blackcoin into a fresh synced wallet. No encryption. I have just left it alone but nothing is happening. What do I need to do? I have seen an arrow on the right corner mentioned, but I don't have this arrow.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

So, is there any channel (IRC) or group (maybe on Skype)?
If not, we should create one (best would be with password), so we can make a plan,
I maybe would have an idea to push prices back and make it intresting for traders but this should be well organised and a Forum like this isnt the right place i think (because writing here is hard)

You have to have it open and unlocked for minting, but if you happen to close it out for a while, the next time you unlock it for minting, your stake weight will be large and should receive PoS payments more quickly (briefly). At least that's what happened to me when I had a mining configured to mine through LAN, but didn't have access to the rest of the internet, so the wallet couldn't connect for quite some time.

Does that mean it has to be running on my computer all the time?  Or can I open it up it up every couple of days, sync up and then close it again?

At this point it is blatantly obvious that there are some panic sellers who have absolutely no idea what they're doing. This market doesn't reflect the value of BC at all. The price will definitely rise once all the noobs are gone.

Is trying to buy low sell high for more BC going to hurt the long term value at this point? By high I mean 700satoshi and by low I mean 450/600.

Nobody cares right now, look on mintpal, ALL altcoins are tanking apart from AUR & MZC, expect to see AUR tank soon as everyone hops on MZC.

Once these fads are done with people go back onto coins like Doge and BC

I am blunt, don't like it ? Too bad

Sure it's posted a hundred times, must be unclear then or why are so many people asking about it ?, you say "unlock for minting" but what if you never locked it or encrypted it ? is that the same thing ? I have mine open but since I never set a pass to begin with how do you get it to mint?

"What sould I do to start PoS mining?
Have your wallet unlocked and online."

I have never locked it to begin with, so now what do you do, instructions are unclear and it's affecting value of coin I believe.

Another noob question. Why is it that sometimes the buy and sell options are so far apart in price and other times they are near identical. The buy was 715 and sell was 710 now it tanks to 580 but buying for 713 still wtf.

Well, if you NEVER LOCKED IT you won't have to UNLOCK IT. It's all automatic. If you are not getting PoS today you will later on. Everyone gets the same.
