The logo is not mine. It's just the one I happened to like the most from a bunch that were created earlier in this thread. Easily interchangeable depending on what the community votes. I believe rat4 put up a poll somewhere but I cannot remember where.

Also, please excuse any spelling errors or horrible English in the snapshot. I really didn't proof read at all. No time for that. Tongue

I don't care about actual price anymore. I've accepted it. Accepted that there are folks that want to get as much as possible to get profit in few hours. They are collecting, collecting. I have my stake, let call me a bag holder, but is it reasonable to sell at lowest possible price the coin deserves (it even does not deserves so low)? I am going to sleep with piece of mid that I have smth special. Let it be... for now.. as it is... and it is good in the way it can be... @505 sat the latest trade. Not bad at all. The coin is not even two decades old.

Many thanks to people working for the BC's development!

Regarding the logo:

Our developer opened a vote for maybe a logo change. Please vote seriously.
The ultimate decision will be made by rat4 himself.

I wish you to reach your goal, I have less than 200k and it is much in my opinion, even 87k is considerable amount, if the price goes up. You are one of the lucky, who owns app. 850 part of the coins.

A pool would be awesome  Cool
This would be 1st reversed pool, you mine something what is not mineable anymore Cheesy awesome idea.
And it is pump machine WTF we invented 1st coin 100% resistant to multipools and ASICs
and with such pool it will be self pumping combo...
IF it will works just give add to title 100% resistant ASIC/Multipools FOREWER
and no one can win that concept that was brilliant.
And 1st will win Smiley.

is there a bounty for this? I'm really liking the concept. I've got 8/m hash to throw at it. I'm sure the code for multipool, hashco.ws pools could be adapted to this.

I would throw 20mh at this also. This is brilliant idea. Any bounty for this?

I would throw 8-10 MH/s at it myself. (my crappy rigs never seem to be up 100% of time and I'm usually around 80-90% potential hash rate  Angry)

We don't have a bounty started. I could either start one or Soepkip could add to his. However, if I were to hold this bounty, I would not pay it out all at once. I don't want someone coming in, setting up a half assed pool, claiming the bounty, and then neglecting the pool. I'd pay it out over time based off successful operation.

I have a new BC wallet if you guys trust me : BM8ks4W567MbHWaREDjq9B26MSSTjjdccV

I've put 5000 BC into it to start it off (just as soon as my wallet updates its blockchain it will get there)

Don't get me wrong, but the best would be if it was made by some of the authorities like Dev himself or Soepkip Smiley
But you have good idea about process of payment for bounty claimer.

I actually have A LOT of rep outside of here - Heatware (64-0-0), Sythe.org (100+ vouches selling RuneScape gold), Ebay (80+ 100% record), etc. I'm really pushing to become involved in this coin. But whatever the community/dev prefers. Just don't forget to give me an honorable mention if this idea comes to be and ends up being a success for BC, given that the idea came from your truly! Along with the good follow up idea about payment processing (see, I think of good ideas) Wink

I'll continue to work on my web design entry anyway. Will move the 5000 BC if need be later on for this purpose. I'm actually already contacting some people off site who run pools asking if they'd be interested in trying to do set this up. I would think someone would want to try this, given it's really an opportunity to be the first of such a pool.

I approved all the accounts that currently where in the waiting list @ www.blackcointalk.com. I'll also check that the requirement for admin approval is waived for the time being Smiley.

Regarding the Multipool idea:
The more I think about it, the more I love it. I guess it would be best to move this discussion to our own forums, i'll setup a topic for it when I get back to the computer. Keep throwing ideas, we need to act together on this so let's do this via our forums Smiley.

Great work guys. I will keep on saying this. No premine, great group of people, good dev team, inventive community, strong and continuous support, no disasterous pumps, no dodgy business involved, POS only with no silly interest rates. If all parties involved keep it this way this is going sky high. 400-500 satoshi is as low as it gets.

The art of patience is what we need to keep in ourselves.

if you want something to mine with alot of Buy support. Come join me on pot.ogres.org. There is 10btc worth of pot buy orders currently. and with BC at a 2:1 ratio with POT. Each pot coin is worth 2 BC.

I'm personally mining Zeit for this purpose. It has much less potential than POT, but it's more profitable at the current difficulties.

I like this idea, but it would take far more work and investment to set up than a mutlipool site, so it'd have to wait until after that is fully established.

Does anybody want to team up and blast BTC at cryptsy voting? I'm not going to send anything the way it is sitting with no votes I can't afford to bring it up on my own.

Does anybody want to team up and blast BTC at cryptsy voting? I'm not going to send anything the way it is sitting with no votes I can't afford to bring it up on my own.

Let's-Get-Added-To-Cryptsy Plan

Okay, so we where talking in our IRC channel (#blackcoin on freenode, join if you want, it's a lot of fun), and we realized we'll never get in to Cryptsy without either dumping a bunch of Cryptsy Points into the vote or just dumping some BTC in the vote. Yes you can vote daily, but if only the Number 1, 2 and 3 will be added each time it'll take ages for us to get added. However Cryptsy now supports donating with BTC.

The Plan:
Get BTC donations to one address, use those BTC to add votes on Cryptsy (if at all possible buy them via Cryptsy Points, since that is just a little cheaper) so we'll be top 3 at least.

How much do we need right now for a top 3 placement?
At this moment we have about 418 votes. To get to number 3 we'd need a minimum of 9900 votes, so we'd need to buy about 9500 votes. The price per vote is 0.0002 BTC, thus we need 1.9 BTC at this very moment to get added. The goal however is about 4 BTC, just to insure that we'll get it the next time the vote period ends.

What if less gets donated?
We'll still buy votes. Votes are not lost after new coins are added, so we'll always win in the end. Our name will be more visible to the Cryptsy community so more interest in the coin will happen.

What if more gets donated then needed to be added?
The remaining BTC will be used to buy BlackCoin on either Cryptsy or one of the other exchanges that already supports us. This then will be divided three ways:
- 50% to the community fund
- 25% to rat4, the developer
- 25% to Soepkip, thus me.

Can we trust you with our BTC?
I should hope so. In all seriousness: The trust I built over the past two weeks is not worth the little money I could run with. Yes, 2+ BTC might be a lot for some, but for me the trust here is worth lots more.

Okay, i'm convinced!

Good, BTC donations can go here: 1MhXcgLxxShhSqb8rwrsAMxF76oz3tzqpF

I don't have any BTC! How can I help??
Just go to https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes and vote there with either your DAILY free vote or use your Cryptsy Points if you have any!

Why don't people just submit BTC directly to the BlackCoin vote address?

Sure, go for it! This strategy will probably work better since I could jump the vote at the last moment. Also, i could use the funds to buy Cryptsy Points directly from the site and 'save' a little on the 0.0002 price they have per vote. (about 5-10% savings).

THE DIRECT TO CRYPTSY ADDRESS FOR BLACKCOIN IS: 16XJh5PqsEqcXWqnK4cFuj9ExHRuXSmNaF
(you can check at https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes if you want)

I personaly made +20 Votes firefox->autofill + 10min mail www.guerrillamail.com
Tomorow +50 my target.
Think i can get some mBTC send too, votes won't vanish so once we get +5000 we will be hard to get kicked from list.

I'm not going to send to a random wallet for obvious reasons, but I pledge .25 btc i'll send straight to cryptsy when I see it start moving.

Also lets start making things move, don't let the forum slow down. People are starting to bag hold and that's not the best sign.
