Can someone explain how the Stake field works in the wallet .. right now it's showing "Stake: 0.00 BC". What exactly does it mean and if there were BC in the stake field... what does it do?

You have chance that you will have get part of annulat 1% stake earlier than in one year.
If you got luck and get stake your coins there you will see eg 1000 stake but only part of 1% annual % will go to your balance 1%-1000BC = 10BC - one day you will get (1/365)*10 ~0,001 =BC to ballance
And your next stake will be cunted from 1000.001... At the end of  year you will get 1014 BC eg because you staked earlier few times.
