Is it a pump or natural growth?

The bump from 2050->2200 was just someone buying in. Atm we're doing quite good Smiley (probably natural)

ok, cause it sometimes looks like only someone wants to offload his coins in the 2000 range

You're right, it's probably the 160BTC dude from yesterday. Blocking all upward movement and dumping his coins to ppl trying to pump Smiley I watched a 2.1 BTC buy @2000 vanish and then when a 1.9 @ 1950popped up, he put up a wall at 2010 lol..

2.1 btc is a drop in the bucket when the volume is in hundreds of btc /day

Agreed, but that wasn't my point.

There is nothing wrong with a guy watching BC having 160 BTC. IF anything that should solidify that there are some big players looking to get back in the market before the pool goes live.

that was probably a glitch on your side. no one wallet has more then 2% (top wallet is like 3% but pretty sure that's the mintpal one) even the exchange wallets.

For those interested, I will need a few testers for my BC paying mining node. I'm looking for no more than a few people, and no more than 2-3 MH/s per person. And preferably people scattered around the world as I am located in the south west USA, to get an idea of how dead hash rates may vary among user locations.

I just want to make sure the custom hash tracking I coded is working properly, and that miners are paid out appropriately. You will have a page that shows your hash rate, your doa rate %, your estimated BC/day income, and your total mined BC (based off pool mined coins, mined coin price, BC price, and % of coins that was contributed to by your hash). Below is an example what you would see from your end mining on this node (still have to add "mined total" up until next payout period).

From my initial testing among my own miners, it looks like it is working as intended. But I want to absolutely be sure this fail-over is working properly before having it support the main pool. I will post details in the IRC channel later, but feel free to send me a PM here if you are interested. I should have it ready to go tomorrow night (Tuesday, PST). If all looks good then the following 1-2 days later I can have it go public for anyone to use as a hold me over until Radio gets the main pool back up.

Its up to crypsty to add this coin on its own accord. I for one am not really happy with the level of service that crypsty has provided compared to other exchanges like Mintpal.

I highly suggest you check out the other exchanges or donate to the cryptsy voting yourself, because it doesn't effect me in the least.

Yeah.... I have to agree I dont like cryptsy as well especially with its high fees.  Plus as most stated cryptsy is the place most altcoins go to die LOL.

Important Announcement From CryptoQuest.net
If you mined blackcoin on our pool, bc.cryptoquest.net, you need to withdraw all of your coins from your account.
We will be shutting down the site this week, as PoW has ended.
If you didn't set up an autopayout threshold or didn't specify a payment address,
then  your mined coins are still in the pool's wallet.
Please claim your blackcoins immediately.
Thanks for mining with us.

No, stake-weight you can think of as an indication of how 'heavy' your holdings are with coin-age, combined with the size of your stake. It's not giving the expected payout number of BC.

Agreed, but that wasn't my point.

There is nothing wrong with a guy watching BC having 160 BTC. IF anything that should solidify that there are some big players looking to get back in the market before the pool goes live.

Actually, you can't tell how many coins are in a given wallet or held by a single person because all you can see is how many coins are held at a given address and a wallet/person can and probably does have multiple addresses.

Yeah.... I have to agree I dont like cryptsy as well especially with its high fees.  Plus as most stated cryptsy is the place most altcoins go to die LOL.

Mintpal has low volumes and less users , let's see when it gets the volume cryptsy handles how it will go

When BC goes to cryptsy the price will crash first. It always happened when a coin joined cryptsy. However when the multipool is open and BC is on cryptsy, Radiostatic can use cryptsy API to buy BC.

Actually, you can't tell how many coins are in a given wallet or held by a single person because all you can see is how many coins are held at a given address and a wallet/person can and probably does have multiple addresses.

That's what I am saying, out of the top 20 there are 6-7 known exchange address, even if you add them all up together they don't equal 9 million.

If these wallets were not used, then your looking at hundreds of wallets, which makes even less sense.

I guarantee it was a bug and it was sorted out quickly.

If you want to give this coin life, have it represent something bigger.

1. Donate a percentage to Civil Rights.
http://www.naacp.org/

2. Associate it with M.L.K.

No fucking thanks
+1 comes off pretty racist aswell imo lol.

Blackcoin price has now stabilised nicely. 24 hour after 1,200 sat low we have a steady rising trendline. This is a very good sign, with price stability comes lower risks. Current trendline suggests +800 satoshi per day. If that is correct, we will trade between 2,600 - 3,000 within 24 hours.

I am extremely bullish BlackCoin and have added further to my position today at dips to 2,000 area.
