You get a red coin.
He get a blue coin.
She get a purple coin.
Hell, fuck it, everybody get rainbow coins!
But if you mesh them all together, it's black.
It's Illogical to create colored coins when you can just go black.

Is anyone here into CryptoCoins because they believe it's a viable alternative for banks? For me it's one of the many reasons I got into CryptoCoins It sure has that potential. I cant say I'm into cryptos for that reason but surely is a distant nice thought and would be crazy for banks not to be interested I would not like to see banks coming into crypto. Also Fiat has been around and still drives the world so much that it's going to be tuff to win that war.

I'm with you on that, and were not talking about replacing FIAT currency, I think it will continue to exist in some form. Today almost all FIAT currencies are unbacked by anything, so they're not really worth anything, except what you think it's worth. Add that + Central Banks & Federal Reserve etc. ( not being Federal but Private ) have the power to create paper money = very corrupt. Here is a video that explains how the FED works in America.

Yes totally agree with you, FIAT = just toilet-paper.
just look at what happens here in Europe with us they don't even need to print money, if they need more money to put into failing countries
(ie cyprus etc..) they just steal it from our bank accounts and give it away in a bottomless well.
At least as long as Crypto keeps a value and is not banned trough the whole world, you can have your money that is almost impossible for some
government to steal from you. ( if you are smart enough not to let it steal of course )

You are right, as long as your money is on the bank they can take it away with a press of a button, and they will if they need to!! Your money is not safe in banks, they use your money to lend out to other people and catch interest on that, but for every euro that gets deposited they can lend it out an X amount of times, this is called fractional banking and this means that if everyone where to get there money at the bank only a few people on the front would actually get their money because they only have a limited amount in stock.( Sounds like Greece ) I invested an x% of my money in metals ( gold & silver ) because of their intrisic value to protect me from this, I actually don't see any reason to keep money ( savings ) on the bank, with inflation it costs money to keep it at the bank and it's not even safe! And about bank control; here in The Netherlands you are now required to send your phone number(!) for verification and a bank verification the first time just to buy Bitcoins. I researched a bit who and why, an organisation called Currence responsible for payments here (IDEAL, PIN, CHIPKNIP) has an 'know your customer'-policy, and guess who is behind Currence, it was formed in 2005 by 8 Dutch banks (ABN AMRO, Rabobank, ING, Fortis, SNS Bank, BNG, Friesland Bank en Van Lanschot Bankiers).

When you say that you have invested in metals does it mean that you have bought gold and physically stored it somewhere in vault by yourself or you bought some "paper" that represent value of gold stored somewhere by a financial corporation? If the 2nd is the case then it may happen that the gold does not exists and that you have bought toilet paper just like with other FIAT currencies. If you invested in papers then is not safe like just FIAT

Facts & Assumptions
Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and I will respect any legitimate argument. However, it seems some facts have been forgotten and/or intentionally ignored.
1.) BlackCoin is less than 2 months old. 2.) It has gained 1440% in value since launching. 3.) BlackCoin is traded on over 17 exchanges and counting. 4.) Myself and a few others are working on some groundbreaking services/products that will help increase BlackCoin value.
As I stated above everyone is entitled to their opinion, and if you feel BlackCoin doesn't have a future then respectfully you should sell, I will happily keep buying your coins. I support BlackCoin not because of emotion or naive optimism, I support BlackCoin because of the developers, community, metrics, and it's future potential. Unfortunately many people who currently trade crypto-currrencies do not have much experience in trading, nor do they have a firm understating of crypto-currencies in general. October 1st 2013 Bitcoin was trading at $127.00, and by November 29th 2013 Bitcoin was trading at $1,109. That is a 773.23% gain, compared to BlackCoin 1440% gain.
Lets do some simple math and predictions based on history and conservative estimates. Based on March numbers lets estimate BlackCoin value will grow a steady 360% each month.
April 30: ¢0.12 May 31: $0.43 June 30: $1.54 July 31: $5.54 August 31: $19.94 September 30: $71.78 October 31: $258.40 November 30: $894.24 December 31: $3219.00
Now obviously the growth will not remain steady at 360% each month. Some months it will be more and some month it will be far less. Some months it will remain level.
So those of us who understand how the market works and realize BlackCoin is not just another Alt Coin will be smiling all the way to the Bank by the end of the year, while people who wanted quick cash will be asking themselves "WHYYYYYYYY"?
I made the above predictions on April 6th, some people thought my predictions were way to optimistic. Nearly 14 days after I made my predictions we are trading @ $0.24 cents a coin and we have 10 more days until the end of the month! FYI: From April 1st to now we have a 840% gain in value! That is after the sell off last week! BlackCoin is an investor's fantasy come true!

Why would you do that? DogeCoin is awesome, great community that really translates the cryptocoin world to something that people can grasp and is not so abstract. BlackCoin is way different IMO, and both have there place.
