So, I received an e-mail from Richie Lai (Bittrex exchange) asking for the wallet early to set up the exchange.  If I do so then we can only hope he won't premine or release the code prior to the public launch.  Does the community think this is an acceptable risk, or should we wait to give him access until the official launch?

I would wait, or alternatively password protect the wallet and give out the pass on release.  I've been on 2 coins that got premined by a pool in the last month.

Yes.  No wallet until the official launch.

Anyways, I'm off to a late night dinner/beer meet with an investor.  IPOs don't fret if I don't respond, I'm still alive, just busy.  When I get back I'll update the web page with all the new IPO investors, which is getting to be a pretty long list.

If you give the wallet to them, I would also like the source early for our pool:  http://gpuc.allpoolz.com.  See where this is going..  The difference is, no one mines my pool until official launch because I'm like that.

NEVER give out the wallet to ANYONE pre-launch.
Have it password protected zip 1 hour before launch
with a strong password.  That exchange is not even
a well known one, I wouldn't trust my business to
any exchange owner.   You get one chance for a
fair launch or epic coin fail.

Give the wallet password protected to everyone before launch and give the password at launch. If you don't, a lot of people who want's to solo mine will be pissed off.. I never solo-mined myself but I saw this many times in new launch. Its the best way to go! Oh and by the way, also give a compiled version of the wallet for at least Windows and Mac users at launch. Pleaseeeee...

All I see that cheap on ebay are used models.  If the dev is selling new models then they are definitely a good price.

What the asic miners pulling 155,687 KH/s 24,057,440 coins a day. Then you have me gpu 600 KH/s 80,000. This coin will be dead just like zeit
