And just one more question to the OP, how many people are working on this project ? You say we but if its not a problem please clearify.
Just to make sure you understand me good, i am not trying to say anything bad, i just think this is a pretty big project. Aside from the development of the coin itself ( for which you obv need some very skilled dev's ) and some people in the marketing department ( facebook, twiter, google+, reddit and what not ), there is a need for pure man power for accepting, packaging, shipping of the orders.
I think the idea of the coin is good and i will try to mine it ( as long as i manage to set up everything okay with Scrypt-N and i find a decend pool )

Any idea why no of the bigger pools has this coin ? is it due the Scrypt-N ?
I am talking about pools like dedicatedpool, hashstrike, hash.so etc ?
Not that i have anything against the pools listed in the thread but i guess i do not feel all that secure after i checked them Smiley

ultrapool and leetpools are great, i wouldn't worry about it.

I run a tight ship with my pool as well.  http:// gpuc.allpoolz.com

Could all the miners agree on this:

We will only fight valuation with in the .0001-.0002 range so the value of the coin stay high and in two weeks you can get dozens of video cards then as the value will be there. Going below would just hurt your personal profits in the end.

If we all set the price the price will stick. Look at doge that is a 1 satoshi coin and it stays 150-300x its value, why because of market manipulation.

So for once can we all be smart and retain a coins value and a bulk of us will profit.

Like CEX.IO but better SCRYPT.CC Scrypt based cloud hashing PM for script for auto reinvest

Releasing the source to the pools early may cause some issues, the biggest of which is some of them launching too early.

Having some people solo mine for the first few minutes also helps strengthen the blockchain and avoid forks.

I vote to give everyone access to the source at the same time.

Please quote this post if you agree. Thank you.

You're first in my pool list for the GPU launch since I already had good results on other coins with your pools Wink

We have received the source early on other coins and have never had an issue.  In the end, miners are a lot more happy when they can mine @ launch and not 10 minutes after.

The dev was saying something like 15-20 minutes early. It might take a fast pool op under 5 minutes to compile.

Maybe your pool is honest, but do you trust all of them?

OP should take in consideration also Nvidia 750 TI and future Maxwell cards for those that live in countries where the electricy cost is an issue  Smiley

Yes, plenty of bad poolz exist.  It's too bad the few wreck it for us legit pool ops.

True! After seeing my recent energy bill I'm slowly switching to Maxwell cards and selling my HD7950 and 280X cards.
I can't wait for the high end Maxwell cards, I'm hoping for 1MH/s cards at 150 watt ...

I like the idea of the coin and would mine it.
However i have never mined a Scrypt-N coin ( which apears to be the case with GPU coin ) , so could some one give a link on "how to " or something like that ( i guess we need to use vertcoin miner ? ) anyway i will apriciate a lot some help !

Also, this coin needs a european partner asap Smiley Shipping, paying extra taxes etc is not the best thing if you want to buy some GPU's whit this coin.

I agree since im an european IPO i would like to see this happen

Yep, and that's the issue. I don't think having a small group of people mining this coin before it is possible to mine for everyone else would be very good for PR, do you?

If the source is released to everyone at the same time, at least everyone has a fair shot.

Yup, I just posted this due to earlier talks of the pools getting the source early.

Hello GPU Coin community.

Are you interested in renting hashing power for the coin launch ?
If so, please reply to this post as I have to configure my rigs for N scrypt mining.
