GPU.OakPool.com is LIVE and taking REGISTRATIONS!

This is a pre-registration period allowing you to prepare for launch. Get an early start by signing up, setting up your worker(s), and prepping your miner(s).

OakPool has a 1% fee

Why do we charge a fee? We use the fee to cover server and hardware charges but more importantly we will use a portion of that fee to offer you REWARDS and BONUSES for mining with us. As a miner you are an integral part of the pool and we want to make sure and reward loyalty; from the great big miners to the small miners, we will do our best to show our appreciation.

We are going to be doing a few different giveaways from the start. Besides just giving away coins we are also going to giveaway Battlefield 4 Keys. Come sign up and join us for launch!

ASUS gpus are horrible, plenty of threads of horror about them. Please find other brands, even PowerColor.

MSI makes the best 270's (mine are 492-510kh), TOXIC makes the best 280's. Rock solid stability. Get a bunch of those and you're golden.

Amazon sold literally 2 trucks of MSI's out in a matter of less than an hour. ASUS are still plentiful..

You have NO idea of what you are talking about.
I returned two Sapphire's that sucked.
Asus 280x CU TOP is THE BEST hash and coolest/quietest 280x made, PERIOD.

Surprised you don't go with Keccak, like Max coin and Helix.
Cards run 30% cooler and quieter as well as Asic resistant.

Yeah, I guess I have no clue. And they don't make the quietest, though they are quiet. I liked the CU TOP low noise level, but the MSI TF4 beat it out in comparison. You just let me know when your asus 270's are passing 493k stable, with 0 hardware errors and .005% reject. Nonstop.

TOXIC 280X is good for 810k without a sweat, and I have learned, can maintain 760-775 at 200W. Good luck with ASUS doing that.

Gpu coin I think the 150,000,000 for bounties and payment should be in injected in to the IPO or some of it. You have a lot of investors.

Why is your store not up yet? The purpose of the coin and the reason it would be worth anything would be GPU's and why only one per day it should be like a 10x max at the least? Why wouldn't we just use btc and tigerdirect, when they have specials it's a better price, not to mention more reliable.

Store front won't open for 2 weeks to allow the coin to settle and work out the development kinks.  The reason you would buy from us is because we will be selling around $50 cheaper than any of the major stores due to our almost nonexistent overhead costs.

Ok so the live stream will be done via youtube of the free GPU givaway at 17:00 EST.  The winner will receive the very first 280x when our shipment arrives (late this week, early next week).  I'll post a link when it's time.

PLEASE VOTE ON THE POLL
The decision is all up to the community.  I have seen pro's and con's for both sides and I would personally go with regular scrypt as it's easier for new miners, but if the ASICs ever do get released they could do some serious damage to the scrypt coins.  Gridseed isn't enough to scare me from scrypt, but if these new 50MH/s rigs actually come to fruition then GPU mining will become less viable.

I'm really hoping to see GPUcoin at Atomic-Trade.  I know that the dev has been contacted by the exchange, and if any coin deserves a spot there it's this one.  Can't wait for launch!

OK, so sometimes you might be cheaper than tiger direct.......sometimes. They offer 20 dollars off when paying with bit coin though. They also have ShopRunner which gets your shit here quick, and a large customer support system. You aren't going to have nearly enough gpus to fill orders people will place. Are you really marking up your gpus as well? Sell them at cost and this would be interesting. The Pre mine should be enough to cover you.
Also nothing is up its all in development.

yes script machines can mine keccak, and they do run cooler, not sure about asic resistant because if a asic script can mine script, and a script card can mine script, whats to stop a asic script from mining keccak?

Why do people worry about dedicated asic systems ruining coins? It helps stabilize networks and grow. You have to keep in the game if you're going to be a big part of it. Reinvest earnings into larger machines. They're more efficient anyhow.
