Are you sure that the philippines legalized already the use of bitcoin? What is your sources? The last time I heard a news about this is the government will not interfere as long as bitcoin will not violate any laws, I am not sure of it.

There are pros and cons in this matter, most of countries in southeast Asia are developing countries. The governments are too busy about increase their own prosperity level. Some of those countries will ban bitcoin and the other will legalize it. But the certain thing is bitcoin now is becoming the top choice of online payment method.
That is absoletely true, why are most countries still gray or haven't declared an attitude for cryptocurrency? because they are still very busy to improve the economy of their country, most countries southeast asia are developing countries so it is reasonable with that

Bitcoin has the potential to have a big impact in Southeast Asia because most people do not have access to banking services and a large market for remittances. Although the Bitcoin ecosystem in the region is largely underdeveloped, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam are countries that have more promising opportunities thanks to the profitable markets and the progress they make in the Bitcoin ecosystem. The country is also the third most populous country in Southeast Asia. The Philippines is leading in terms of how well the Bitcoin ecosystem is developing in the region. The Philippines has many Bitcoin exchanges run by professional teams and has several large merchants that accept Bitcoin.

Because to my knowledge there are several countries in southeast asia that have not legalized bitcoin. And what is our endeavor for bitcoin in southeast asia to be legal like any other country (which has legalized bitcoin). Will the impact be positive or negative? if bitcoin becomes legal in south asia, the positive is the perekononiam and the level of prosperity is increasing because the value of bitcoin itself is quite high. The negative is that people can leave their original currency. because of losing competitiveness with bitcoin.

Will the impact be positive or negative? will in this speculation we could not guarantee that legalization of bitcoin in southeast asia would be implemented because its only depend on the decision of the government of thats country if they want to legalize the crypto as part of there economic progress, otherwise there one example of thats country in asia thats legalize and become more progressive there economic growth by means of digital currency and thats the country of japan.

Indeed, most country in south east asia think bitcoin is illegal and used for criminal activity or money laundering. Hopely thats will change in next few years and government in south east asia can regulate bitcoin and cryptocurrency

I know for sure that everybody here in the crypto currency community wants to make the Bitcoin become legal in all over the globe. Bitcoin is a great crypto currency that also have effects in all other crypto currencies. I was hoping more good news like this will keep coming out here in the crypto world.

I personally think that sooner or later bitcoin will be solved everywhere. Well, or almost everywhere. It's just that it's almost impossible to control ... therefore it is much easier to resolve this and not to spoil your reputation by trying to ban

The impact will surely be positive because people will be more aware of the blockchain if bitcoin is legalized. With that said, further advanvements in technology will occur leading to an economic status boost. To that end, I hope that they will legalize it before 2020 so that we will not be left behind by the western countries.

This idea I like, and in General, soon I think many countries will still accept cryptocurrency in the country, and will have to develop thanks to it, because now many countries are already operating with bitcoin.

Many countries still ban bitcoin because they think it's not safe to use, but I think only people who use bitcoin have errors in the security of their wallets. This can be legalized someday if bitcoin continues to grow to be the best safe to avoid hacking in the wallet.

Bitcoin legalization actually depends on the government of a country. The country from southeast asia will soon adopt bitcoin and it will make a positive impact on the country. I know they can easily adopt and accept bitcoin.

it's hard to say for sure because no one has declared that bitcoin is legal and followed by other countries. because bitcoin is not a legitimate global currency, there must be one country that declares it.

It not really that hard to say mate because some of the South-East Asia (indonesian, Malaysia, and Singapore) have already declared Bitcoin as a legal tender or payment .
