I think that is a very good step and way, by buying altcoin you can get a very good profit because the price of altcoin is still cheap so it will be easy to do the price increase. look for altcoin that has the potential to increase price with a lot of distance in order to get a lot of profit.

We all always seek profits in cryptocurrency trading, if the price of bitcoin soars, will you sell it to buy fiat or altcoin? If you buy altcoin, what is the altcoin that you will buy?

I will buy Altcoins as much as i can if Bitcoin become more expensive specially if the certain Altcoin is much cheaper to purchase and have the potential to make my investments to grow. Right now i will just hold my Bitcoin so that i could ride on time if the bullish run will start making the Bitcoin to become more expensive again.

If you sell your bitcoin better to buy altcoins instead of fiat, because altcoins can give you high profit if you choose good altcoins to invedy in your money. Just do research and you will see what altcoins that good to  invest and you will see that your money grow.
It is not as simple, right now I think that will be a losing move, the sights of everyone are in bitcoin and not in alts and if we get approval by the SEC then you can be sure that the price of bitcoin is going to skyrocket as soon as we get the news about the decision, and money that is currently in alts will come to bitcoin and you will lose money as a result of your decision to buy alts right now.

If it is your decision I will support your decision about selling you bitcon to invest in altcoin, but you should think more about this because if you do not consider you may be regretted with these decisions

Its good to take some profit with bitcoin and invest it in good altcoins but better not to convert it into fiat money if you don't need the money. I'm just holding bitcoin until now because I know its worth and for sure my future with bitcoin is great. This will just depend on our goal and target price with bitcoin, always set that goal.

I will convert it to fiat and to buy some new altcoins especially from ico. I will never buy some altcoins that were ready in the market because the chances are low to make profit if bitcoins or the pump starts to decline.

I think of course we have to sell Bitcoin and start buying altcoin. We will generate more profits and increase our investment. Because altcoin has an ongoing opportunity to raise prices in the future.

If bitcoin starts to grow, I do not sell it, because I'm sure that it will grow and develop in the nearest 3 years and it is not profitable to sell it. But in extreme cases it's better to exchange Bitcoin for top altcoins.

Ripple!  Grin Grin Grin
But seriously, there is no trust in any altcoin now. There will be no such huge growth as ETH or NEO had. Too many projects, which nobody wants. Everyone wants to get X, the idea of the project does't care
I will fix fiat or stablecoin

When you have made some reasonable cash on an investment, i normally convert to USD , then wait for price to dip before buying again. It helps me avoid buying buy at the peak

Best scenario is to sell bitcoin from a high price and buy fiat, then buy bitcoin back when its price is down. Altcoins are all sh*tcoin at the moment.

If I sell my bitcoins I will buy only altcoins, not fiat currency. Answer on your second question: I think it will be ethereum, ethos or wanchain

it's a good choice to sell ethereum and buy altcoins, but make sure the altcoins you want to buy must be good and have no big risk. so I think this should be mutually beneficial for the change of coin choice.

Altcoins make abut 90% of my portforio, so it's strange to me to hear that someone doesn't have any altcoins at all, only BTC. So I would recommend to buy alts and remain some BTC unsold in your portfolio.

a few days I had sold my bitcoin and divided it into two parts, I sold it to fiat and then saved it and the rest bought ethereum and also some other alts. my plan for altcoin is for the long term.

At these low coin prices in fiat terms, instead of selling any bitcoins or altcoins for fiat, it is time to buy both bitcoin and good altcoins.

I made sure to fulfill the necessities of life first, my mind would not calm down before allocating funds to fiat, after that I could focus on capital for altcoin, I applied bitcoin as a final asset where the fund turnover was greater only through altcoin, there were always active transactions between the three things and running in balance according to the proportion I set.

Depending on the situation. In my end, I am more of a hodler I have some btc but I didn't sell them when it was $8k for the past few days hoping that it will still go up however it went back to $7.5k however the only regret is that I should've bought an altcoin with cheap price.

If given the chance, I will buy INS - its badly dumping as of now and it's time to buy more as Q4 is coming and that's the start of testnet and I've seen a lot of potential on their project.

If the bitcoin price increases, the profit I will sell fiat. and wait for the bitcoin price to return to the target I will buy again. If I have more capital I will buy some altcoin. But I will not sell bitcoin to buy altcoin. I will do the opposite
