To protect your money from scammers, it is necessary: 1) to store money on a hardware purse such as Trezor or Ledger, 2) not to keep all the money at one address, but to scatter a few, 3) to keep some of the money in BTC, 4) to keep some of the money on the exchange

Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.
The safety of your money in cryptocurrency is closely related to how well you can effectively secure your private keys, if hackers do not have access to that, they do not have access to your coins

Nothing is safe on the internet and we know Bitcoin cant function without the internet. So It is required to know the necessaries to make our fund safe. The last time I took a course on cyber security, the teacher emphasizes on never getting too relaxed or careless whenever one gets on internet. The safest way is not to put all your eggs in one basket. scatter your storage and treat them as single ones so at least you dont get to lose all if one loses at all.

As long as you are here in this kind of field your money is not really safe, but that;s not the thing, because if your kind of wallet is highly secured, it's noting to worry about, just don't put or share some private stuffs in public for your protection.

Sure but i think that is the reason people are advised not to keep their private keys online though many still defy that,

Apart from the cryptocurrency related risks, it's simply as safe as the "tool" you use for it...

Frequent jumps in the course of such a currency become a real find for active traders who profit on the difference in the changes in the cost of the ETH unit. Expecting whether "Ether" will grow, we can draw an analogy with the past year.

If you want to secure the money then save it in the bank. but don't hope it will develop and deliver great results. Crypto is the most at risk for getting results. but this is also the most promising than just silence the money at the bank. hackers are indeed numerous and wandering, but if careful even to this day I have no problem with that.

What kind of safety are you taking about? If it is about investment safety, then it depends on the coins you have invested on. Coins that are actually legit, popular and well known have better security of your investment since the value of those coins are likely to fail. If you are talking about the coins being safe without, it also depends totally on you. If you take all proper steps and precautionary measures, then your coins will be safe with you.

Not only private keys ofcourse you have to be secure in all angles just don't think in one way only because a lot of hackers and scammers today are really skilled that's why we have to be very cautious and careful all the time in order our money is to be safe here in crypto world. Goodluck to all of us.

full crypto, hacking and certainly, this is not a secret anymore. many are already hacking in order like this. When entered in the crypto certainly should be willing to accept any risks it brings and the hacking is one of the risks that will be experienced. the most important continue to be vigilant and never open suspicious things weaker.

Well, it depends. Do you think cryptocurrency is here to stay? Are you able to ensure the security of your tokens?

If yes to both, then it's mostly a matter of securing the right coins long-term.

How safe are your security methods?

For now, I think crypto is a better store of value than fiat since fiat depreciates much faster due to inflation.
Having 10-20% of your portfolio in crypto is I think a good zone for me. Store it in a hardware wallet for long term hodl.

maybe is a little too late for you but for new people, these tips can be handy.

Don't ever keep a large number of coins on an exchange, you never know if they could go under completely or just lock your account. Always store your coins in a wallet that you have the private key to, that way you and only you have control over your coins.

When creating a new wallet, don't store your private key on your computer. Write it down on a note card or piece of paper instead. Then copy it to 1 or two other note cards. Once you have done this, before sending any coins to your account, log in to your account only by typing in the private key that was written on each note card to ensure that you wrote it down correctly.
