There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

How?  He doesn't earn anything from most rounds...  It was a ponzi - he kept running rounds until he decided to just run with everything heh.

The site no longer shows a balance - this changed since the start of the round.  Vort is offline on bitcointalk forums 2 min after the round starts... ya, looking like this was the end of the ponzi.

He also made sure to end the other ponzi (the random one) around the same time.

If he's online and he probably is, I highly suggest he goes through his mailbox, maybe he'll find some interesting private messages..

Man I was still hopeful of getting my stupid round 6 deposit back. "taken care of" did rase my suspicions slightly, not enough.
