If you want me to, I can do that but from that I will stop to call bitcoin and Investment, it will not stop being that. Because people are concerning it to be an investment asset more than a currency right now.

Unless the crypto universe gets balanced in the normal economy, bitcoin will be an investment till then. Common man still dont know much details about crypto and see it as an opportunity to increase his wealth.

It's easy to say that after more adoptions comes Bitcoin can be treated as currency more than an assets for investment, though majority of traders around keep making this system as an investment knowing that they've got a good chance multiplying their money whenever they are dealing with trades and make successful calls. |

I think no one can do that because since the beginning Bitcoin was created as currency and become alternative investments to earn more fiat and that is the reason of why we are here because we joint this currency so that we could earn too.The decentralized nature of this currency means that there is no transfer commission, which can play a significant role for some investors in transactions with impressive amounts. Bitcoin is also limited in its quantity, but even after the release of all bitcoins, their value will not fall.

Today, the bitcoin rate is constantly falling or rising in price. Bitcoin is an investment - which will become expensive in a few years. But when all people will use payment with the help of bitcoin, and when the price is leveled and there is no sharp jump - then you can no longer invest in bitcoin, but just use it!

This damages the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was not created to become an investment. Before Bitcoin, there were some digital currencies years back, the goal was always to be able to create a (digital) currency free from central banks and governments.
Cypherpunks and other anarcho-capitalists are at the origin of this idea, perhaps 20 or 30 years ago. None were intended to make an investment to be rich quickly.
You won't find in the white paper "investing" mentioned, you won't find any post from Satoshi mentioning it
Considering Bitcoin as an investment, this is the reason why we have more and more regulations, G20 summits and others craps, KYC, etc...
The word "Crypto-assets" didn't exist before, why did they create it? Because you even consider it an investment, then why shouldn't they?
Bitcoin could be a lot more accepted and used by now. Why should a merchant agree to be paid in Bitcoin? He wants money, not a piece of your investment.
You're not even investing, you are just gambling with money.
Go to the altcoins board, you will surely find plenty of ICOs where you can say you invested in. I have something for you, ICOs used to raise money are no different than "Crowdfunding". If you want to invest then there are a lot of Crowdfunding websites where you can invest in real startups with fewer risks, (you won't find any project using photos from Pixabay...)

Bitcoin was not an investment when it started years ago. It was made as a currency and was promoted as the same. It was accepted as a currency as well. However, when its demand increased exponentially, the price went so high that people eventually realized that more than using the coin as a currency, it was better to store it because there would be a huge wealth waiting for them by doing so. And then Bitcoin slowly became a storage of asset rather than a currency. And I think we cannot blame them for reacting so.

it feels hard to let go of btc and investment, after all it has become one even though it deviates from the original goal satoshi made btc, but that is not wrong like the dollar, even the dollar is a currency but that is used as an invaders, the importance of btc is not restricted by regulation banking and government, besides btc is still a digital currency that is efficient and has many advantages and I am sure it is enough to meet the initial objectives of the btc itself

If Bitcoin wasn't considered an investment its more people could use it and its value could be less volatile. Bitcoin is the best possible investment that's why we call bitcoin an investment, bitcoin has a big part when we investing without bitcoin we can't invest. Bitcoin and invest are connected to each other.

it is impossible. Bitcoin is good investment. we see, 2017 was good for crypto. most of people was invest in, got lot of profits. so you can't stop calling Bitcoin an investment. Bitcoin is very promising. allthough this year is not good for Cripto. just wait and see.

Well since bitcoin has features that can very well make it good investment, you can't expect people to just ignore that opportunity. At this point in time, it's more seen to be an investment instead of anything else. |
